*This chapter has a star because it is the foundation of the real meaning of this book. I have an explanation at the end of the chapter! Enjoy! :)

• Issa's POV •
As we walked home, I began to reminisce of the moments of me being in a coma, or as I called it, "a burrito."

I had a lot of variations of dreams while being in this "burrito," so many that I couldn't remember them all; however, one was beginning to slip into my mind everyday.

Anyways, Ally and I continued to walk home from the park with the picnic basket and blanket. We finally reached my house and I unlocked the door, moments later being greeted happily by the dogs.

"Hey Ally, I think I'm just gonna sit out on the patio. I'll be out there if you need me." I said as I walked outside and onto my back patio.

I sat down and thought. Just thought. About everything....

Ally

My family

My future...

This honestly isn't something I bring up so often, but it needs to be thought about. Leaving things as a "last-minute" project always ends up falling apart, at least for me. This is why I think it's necessary to think ahead of time, this way I actually have a future and an occupation, and everything else along the way.

*One thing I thought of while I was in a coma was a llama for some odd reason. They are a form of symbolism, I guess. Llamas are friendly animals, yet everyone says they're viscous. Their coat is very soft and delicate, like a wool almost. Everyone always says how you shouldn't be fooled by someone's appearance, and that llamas look kind but are actually snappy; however, sometimes how someone looks to be is how they actually are. You just have to find out for yourself if that's the case.*

(A/N: this paragraph has stars because it's this most important of the chapter- explanation at the end with the a/n)

My thoughts were then paused when I heard the patio door open and shut. Assuming it was Ally, which it was, I didn't turn around. Instead, I stayed sitting under the umbrella at the table, sipping ice cold water every now and then- just simply thinking and looking deeper into the meaning of life and our surroundings.

"Hey Issa, you okay?" Her soft voice asked me from behind.

"Yeah, just thinking."

"About what?" She said, curiosity hinting in her voice.

"Everything. Just take a look at everything- the sky, the clouds, the grass. There's deeper meaning to everything. The sky is more than just our atmosphere that appears as a soft blue. The clouds are more than something that many people say looks like white cotton. The grass is more than just green and spiky. There's meaning to everything, more than what we see. I just wish that people would get that through their heads. It's almost as if everyone is brainwashed because of social media, and everything we see is exactly what we think it is." I said.

"Wow. I never really thought about it that way, but you're absolutely right." Ally said, then creating silence.

She then broke this silence after several minutes,

"You know what? I think you can be the one to change that."

"What?" I was honestly so confused. How could I, one person alone, change everyone's way of thinking about others. Especially with the large impact of social media and everyone's vision of "perfect."

"Issa, I know it might seem impossible, but remember how many people follow you on Vine now? You can still gain a following on social media and send out messages to your fans like these. Maybe through Twitter or YouTube or something, but one way or another, I know you are capable of doing this." Ally said encouragingly.

"Thanks, Al'. You really know how to make me feel better." I said, engulfing her in a hug and placing a kiss on her cheek.

"I just have one question.." She said.

"And what would that be?"

"How did you just think of all of this within half an hour?" She asked.

"While I was in a coma I had this idea that llamas are a form of symbolism in the way that everyone sees them as friendly, which they actually are, but knows them as vicious. Everyone says everything is not how it seems, or isn't what it looks like, but sometimes it is and you just have to find out for yourself. Then this led me to today, thinking about how everything has a deeper meaning." I ranted once more.

"Wow, deep. Good news for you, I've started dinner." She said with a smile.

"You know me and my love for food too well." I said chuckling. We headed inside, Ally finished making dinner, and we both ate.

Later that night, my parents met Ally for the "first" time. The actual first time that they met her was when they thought I was dead, which I'm sure none of the three were content with. We all decided to meet at The Cheesecake Factory and have dessert.

AHHH a longer chapter!💓
I made this chapter a bit deeper, but this is the big foundation of the book. Hence the title, It Started With A Llama. If you haven't picked up on it yet (which is fine :)), Issa's being in a coma sprung him to the idea of a llama being a form of symbolism, which then led him to everything having a deeper meaning, then making him want to do social media so he could get this message through to as many people as he could.

I'm 99.9% sure this isn't how he actually started social media (lol he was inspired by Shane Dawson, I'm almost positive) but I thought this was a cool concept which is actually important for a lot of people to realize.

I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter, more coming soon loves❤️:)
