I wake up to the sound of a bird chirping and rub my eyes so I can see clearly. My room is nice and neat, not a thing out of place. "Mom?" I call out, yelling so loud I get a piercing pain in my head.
"Morning! I just finished loading the car so we are ready to go!" she quickly scans my body and can tell I just woke up. "But clearly your not." she finishes and quickly runs towards me.
"I need to get dressed ASAP! Why did you let me sleep in?" I ask while I pull off my pajama pants.
"Well, your leaving to college and I just wanted my baby to be well rested before she heads off all on her own." she helps me adjust my short and pouts. "I can't believe my baby is going to college!"
I roll my eyes and think to myself "I can't believe I'm going to college!"
