I woke up to the sound of my door being opened. I got up and saw Kade holding a bouquet of flowers with a card inside.
"Found them on the doorstep this mornin. Might want to check it out."
"Kk. Thanks."
He walked over and passed them to me. First I opened the card.
Dear Sweet Lia,
I know I do not hold your heart, yet. But I shall say one thing this day. Happy Valentine's day. I hope you will be mine soon. Because I know my "friend" Zach holds all your heart, but I will get you one day.

Holy.Shit.Talking.Mushrooms. Mike,the new kid, likes me and wants me to be his. I have to tell-
"Happy Valentine's day, Lia!" Zach said interrupting my thoughts.
I got up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Good get ready I'm gonna take you out at 3. So make sure your ready."
"Kk."
I'll tell him later. He seems too happy and I don't want to ruin his mood.
Once I finished putting on my heels, Zach was knocking on the door. I went down and opened it.
He took my hand and we started walking out. He took us to a nice fancy restaurant and then we went to look up at the stars at the park.
"Have I told you how gorgeous you look tonight?"
"Yes. This is like the 30th time babe."
"Just checking."
And the rest of the night went just fine. I figured I would juse tell him about the note tomorrow.
