Alex's POV

That day in April was the day the cherry blossoms were in blooming pink. That was also the day I fell in love.

Just like any cliché love story, I fell in love at first sight. I fell for a girl who had blue hair that had waves at its ends. She also had pale white skin that matched her ocean blue eyes.

And just like treasure, she was a rare sight.

Days have passed since I met Juvia and I ended up longing for her, wanting to see her again. It was as if her mere existence was telling me "Hey, let's go on an adventure"

When I left the cafe that day, I saw Juvia and a fine woman with scarlet hair. She had the fairy tail insignia etched to her shoulder. There I realized that the two were perhaps mages, mages of Fairy Tail.

Couldn't I join Fairy Tail perhaps? Since I'm also a mage.

I didn't know how I learned ice but that day when I found myself without memories, lying cluelessly on the ground, I gave myself a name, and I also realized I wielded the power of ice.

I consulted several mages and experts, and I found out that I was an ice devil slayer. I didn't know much about magic but mine only. So I guess joining a guild would be fun.

I didn't know if I was joining the guild to find answers of my past or I was joining the guild to satisfy my longing for Juvia. But I'm going to figure it out anyway.

I took a deep breath and realized that I was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling all this time.

I looked at the palm of my hand and wondered what kind of fate awaited for me if I joined Fairy Tail.

And so I decided to join the guild; Fairy Tail.
