Alex POV

It's been about three months since I've entered Fairy Tail and it seems that I've gotten along really quick too.

Today, the usual guild routine happened. And by usual, I meant me and Natsu fighting, Erza stopping us, pretending to get along and Macao drooling over Lucy's breasts.

"Gray-Sama~!"

With my palm against my forehead, I winced in pain. My head was aching so badly.

But despite the pain, the familiar voice that echoed in my head left an aching feeling in my chest.

"Juvia?" I called her name. "Yes, Alex?" She raised an eyebrow. "I'm gonna walk around a bit, okay?" I said as I left.

It has been three months but I still lived in Juvia's apartment and she still insists I do.

But though the three months left quicker than ever, the memories have stayed in place.

But I lived each day with the lingering feeling of wanting to know who I am, who I was.

I watered my lips as I left the guild. My feet brought me to a familiar place, the abandoned house Juvia told me about.

The door creeked as I entered, the scent of dust wafted into my nose. The pile of scattered clothes were untouched and still on the floor while the letter that haunted me was still open.

Before I could do anything else, I took the letter from the table and swiftly and placed it deep in my pocket.

I closed the door and went to the lake across the house. The water glimmered orange due to the sun setting.

I sat on the soft grassy area under the tree and decided to breathe. The picturesque view made me smile for once and enjoy who I was now, which wasn't usual of me.

I fished the letter from that abandoned house deep in my pocket and unfolded it.

To: Gray
From: Juvia

Dear, Gray-sama, if you're reading this now then probably I've fallen in love with you twice now, and lost you twice too.

Juvia couldn't help but write this letter after overhearing your conversation with Ultear. Juvia doesn't want to loose Gray again.

If you found this letter then probably you don't know Juvia, probably you forgot everything, probably you're lost somewhere in Magnolia or probably you were meant to find this.

I'd love to tell you everything but Juvia knows that you'll find me and Gray-sama doesn't need hints from a letter because Juvia believes you can do it.

Juvia really loves you, Gray-sama

I couldn't help but cry. This could make some sense, could help me find myself but this was close to impossible. If the Juvia that I knew now wrote this then she would remember, she would know who this Gray is.

I sighed as I wiped my tears away. I wanted to know who I was so badly. Did I have a family? Was I good? Was I bad? Did I love someone? Did someone love me?

Aside from naming myself Alex, I didn't know my surname neither did I name myself one.

If I had a family in my old life then they would be disgraced by the fact that I had another surname.

But even after all these countless possibilities there was always one thougt that would disapprove of them. It was; did I even have a life before I woke up without memories?

Perhaps I was an Alien, a monster or I could even be Zeref's apprentice.

The sun was barely seen anymore and I had to go back before Juvia rants about how worried she was.

Before I could even stand up, warm arms were wrapped around my neck and something heavy against my body.

"Juvia was worried sick, Alex!" She punched me playfully by my chest. "I told you I was going out, Juvia" I chuckled.

Our status? We're the best of friends. You know that type of best friend that's a boy but you never fall for-type of friend? Yep, that's how she's treating me. She was completely blind to the fact that I was crazy for her.

"What if you were.....kidnapped?" Juvia made her excuse. "Admit it, you missed me" I said as I pinched her nose as I laughed.

"Fine, Juvia did miss Alex" She raised her arms up in defeat as she rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, Alex, mind helping Juvia pick a dress?" She asked with a sweet smile on her face.

"What's the occasion?" I asked with curiosity lingering in my voice. "Lyon wants to talk" Juvia answered.

There she was again, she'd treat me ever so sweetly then hurt me afterwards. She was giving me all these mixed signals and I CAN'T SPEAK GIRL LANGUAGE!!!!

"Sure" I answered back with a smile despite the sound of my heart shattering.

She paused for a moment before standing up and helping me get up too.

A million days of shopping later, and she hasn't bought a single dress. "What does Lyon want to talk about anyway?" I said with a tired voice.

"Juvia doesn't know yet" She said while meticulously scanning each dress.

"Tell you what Juvia, this looks perfect on you" I picked a random dress and gave it to her.

"Really?" Juvia said with some sort of bloom in her face. "Yep, now try it out" I said while pushing her in thr dressing room.

It took about five minutes 'til Juvia finished. She dashed out the dressing room gracefully before coming before me.

She was wearing a beautiful dress, my eyes couldn't part from the sight of her. She was like blazing fire and I was that moth attracted to the light.

"How does Juvia look?" She raised an eyebrow. "Y-You look..." I trailed off. "Perfect, I guess" My cheeks turned bright red.

I had a short moment of ecstasy before having a popping feeling in my head.

"My answer is no"

"Answer is no"

"Is no"

"No"

And after that short explosion of neurons in me head, everything turned black.
