Denying Part 2

Alex's POV

"Off you go" Mirajane smiled mischievously while approving our mission request. I was about to leave the guild with Juvia when something heavy bumped against my back.

"Watch it flame brain" I didn't know why I was so irritated over a simple bump. For some reason, I'm starting to hate Natsu. Ughhh. "Whaddya say ice princess?" Natsu's hand turned aflame.

"Eh, Gray-sama, your clothes" Juvia said but instantly covered her mouth when she realized she said 'Gray' again. I found my clothes lying on the floor and I picked em up.

"I'm sorry, I have a stripping habbit" I confessed. "Or you could admit you're a pervert" Natsu gritted his teeth.

"It's a habbit, do you have flames for brains?!" I curled my fists. He was about to say something but I felt something bring me up.

"ERZA!!" "Erza?" Me and Natsu said in unison. We were both in the air before Erza brought our heads together, resulting into collision.

"Ouch" I scratched my head. "You should've gone easy on Alex, Erza. He's new" Levy said.

Erza's eyes widened. "I'm sorry Alex. I've gone too far. It's just that....It felt so right" Erza apologized. "It's okay" I said while standing up with Juvia's help.

"Everyone!" Someone that resembled Mirajane shouted. She looked like a demon and her hair was slicked upwards. Shit! It is Mira!

"I ship AlVia as of the moment" her voice sent an electric shock running down my spine. "those who don't get out of their way right now" She took a whip. "Will receive punishment accordingly!" She whipped it down close to Natsu.

All of us were in pure silence and while they all made way for me and Juvia. We exited the guild quietly due to fear.

I wiped my sweat after successfully making out of the guild alive. Phew!

I followed Juvia down the train station with this relaxing silence between us. We got our train tickets and went to our first ever mission together.

"We have safely arrived in the city of Liatris. Please be careful not to leave your valuables behind and enjoy the rest of your day!" Someone's voice boomed from the speakers as everyone rushed to leave the train.

Me and Juvia went to our client's adress and was greeted with a huge garden placed before a gigantic mansion. We walked through the garden and stood before a huge door. We also confirmed to the guards our identities before entering.

"Fancy meeting you, mages of Fairy Tail!" A man sitting down on a diamond studded chair greeted while holding his glass of red wine said. "Likewise" I said to him.

"You see my daughter here is my one and only. She would soon be the heir to all this wealth. That's why I want you to assist her upon going to the rest house" He said while her daughter walks down the stair case.

She walked through us and exited the mansion. "Go, go with her" Her father said. The guards assisted us to come with her.

|After Mission|

Me and Juvia walked down the poorly lighted road to her house. We were both alone and I liked it.

"You bothered by that letter you saw in the house?" I asked since she's been too quiet.

"Sort of" She looked down. "Juvia feels as if a part of her is missing" She confessed.

I didn't want to tell her I was feeling the same way since we barely knew each other and I wasn't that open.

"I'm sorry Juvia but can I stay with you just for one more night? The inn is still fully booked" I asked.

"Stay as long as you like. And Alex....This might sound weird but..." She trailed off.

"Sleep on the bed tonight. Alex's back looks like it's gonna break on the sofa" She told me.

"S-Sleep on the bed? With you?" My cheeks burned bright red. "I'll sleep on the couch" Juvia said with her cheeks aflame as well.

"I don't want you to break your back instead of mine" I said. "Well neither does Juvia!"

"Let's both sleep in bed then!!" We both said in unison. "It's not like I want to" We said in unison once again.

The supposedly peaceful walk home turned to a walk with awkward silence within our midst.

Juvia switched the lights open just to see the room in complete darkness. "Blackout" Juvia whispered.

I wandered down her pitch black room trying to find a candle or something.

My eyes widened when my back bumped against a soft and bouncy surface.

"Alex, that's Juvia" She whispered. "Sorry" She told me to hold the candle as she tries to light it with a match and I did as told.

The room was now orangey-black. "You should change in the bathroom. Take the candle with you. I'll change here" I suggested.

Her head nodded in agreement and she took the candle with her. The room was pitch black once again.

I decided to change into more comfortable clothes until I heard Juvia shriek in the bathroom.

"Juvia!" I opened the bathroom door to see Juvia in her undies while shaking. "Alex!" She hugged me despite her current outfit and said "A-Alex look at thaaat!" She pointed.

I saw a cockroach and immediately rolled my eyes. She was a water mage for God's sake.

I immediately killed the roach by shooting it down with sharp ice, gaining a sigh of relief from Juvia.

Her bouncy globes suddenly caught my attention. My cheeks blushed and so did hers.

My eyes looked into hers and she immediately complied.

"Juvia" I whispered but loud enough for the both of us to hear. "Gray" She answered.

And thus, we were now laying down on the same bed awkwardly.
