Dorian's p.o.v-
"They paid you four hundred thousand jewel just to clear out a gang?" Gray asked in his astonished state. "Yep, the Three Devils Gang. According to what we found, they were stealing artifacts and other things. They were using a warehouse to cover it up." I explained. Gray simply nodded and went on about his business. I gazed around the hall looking for Laki. I caught her in the back of the guild hall chatting with some of the girls. I smiled at my good fortune, I couldn't help but feel very lucky that I found this place. 'This is home.' I smiled at the thought. I brushed myself off and decided to go for a walk. I walked through the shopping district, I just zoned out. When I regained my awareness I noticed there was a large cathedral. "Well, this is new." I thought aloud. I decided to head back to the guild since it was getting late. As I was treading along, my thoughts slowly drifted to a certain purple headed girl. She was very attractive, yet strange, but it didn't detract from her.
' Okay, wait a second, why am I thinking about her this way?' I contemplated as I slowly strolled back to the guild hall. "I really gotta find a place to live. I can't sleep at the guild hall forever." I laughed aloud. A few citizens who were out gave me strange looks. I gave them a smile and a wave as I kept walking along. I walked inside and sat at a table. As I ran my hands through my short hair, I could hear the clinking of Erza's armor. "Hello Dorian, is something wrong?" she asked as the others began to walk up. "Nope, just looking for a place to live. Especially since I can't just sleep in the guild hall all the time." I chuckled. She stayed silent in her thoughts for a few seconds. "Perhaps one of you know of a place with vacant homes?" she asked Lucy and the others. Natsu and Gray just shook their heads, but Lucy spoke up. "I think there's an open space in the apartment complex I'm staying in." "Really? That would be great if there was." I yawned. Although I knew I was sleepy, I was very excited to say the least. "Yeah, I'll talk to my land lady tonight about it. Just come by tomorrow, here's the address." she said as she handed me a small slip of paper. "Thanks Lucy, I owe you one." "Ah, don't mention it." she sheepishly waved her hand at me. She got up and went to leave after saying goodbye to everyone. Natsu still walked her home out of pure habit. I laid my head down on the table and tried to get some sleep.
Lucy's p.o.v-
I strolled on the curb, close to the canal on my way home. "Hey be careful Lucy, you don't want to fall in do ya?" the man always sailing on the canal teased me. "Don't worry I won't." I called out to him. Natsu wasn't far behind, just walking at his own pace with Happy right next to him. "You make friends easily don't you?" he asked. "You think so? I'm just being nice is all." I replied. I looked up at the beautiful night sky. A smile quickly formed on my face. It smelled like honeysuckle all the way home. "Hey Lucy, you're still gonna talk to your land lady?" he stretched out his muscles as he asked. "Yeah, I can't let a friend of mine not have a home." I said as I unlocked the door. "Can we come in for some fish?" Happy asked. "I don't have any." I replied, waiting for him to say something funny. "Then why do you smell like it?" he teased. "Okay both of you beat it!" I screamed and slammed the door in their faces. I walked to my land lady's door and knocked a few times. The halls always smelled nice, I never understood how she kept them so clean. I heard her unlock the door, I turned my attention to her as she opened it. "What is it Lucy? It's kind of late at night for these things." she yawned. 'I must've woken her up.' I thought. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you, but a friend of mine is looking for a place to live. Do you still have some rooms left?" I asked, silently hoping that there was one. "Why yes I do. Did you give them the address?" she asked. "Yep, he'll be coming by tomorrow." I stated in an excited tone. My energy must have surprised her because she just stared at me. "Okay then, I'll talk to this man tomorrow and hopefully get a new tenant." she dragged her words due to her sleepiness. "Okay thank you goodnight." with that said I went upstairs to my apartment to go to sleep.
