         Tyler's POV

I couldn't believe Jake would do something like that. I get it he's the prankster out of all of us, but I mean that was a low blow there. I had half the mind to go kick his ass, after I "talked" to Nate. He looked so sad, it hurt him the most not having found his mate yet. I protected all of my brothers, their needs always before mine, but Nate was the one that I really protected, but only because he was the youngest and granted the death of our parents affected us all, it affected Nate the most. He was still so young. I walk up to Jake's door and knock, "Come in." When I went in, he was lying on his bed like nothing just happened, so I walked up and punched him. "What the hell was that for!?"

"You and your stupid jokes. Do you know how badly you hurt us, but you want to know who's hurting the most from it? Nate." I sneered, I usually don't talk to my brothers this way, but with what Jake did, I made an exception.

"Tyler I wasn't joking. I really found her."

"How far are you gonna take this? Can't you see that they're hurt enough? Why?" He looked at me with a questioning look.

    "Why what?"

    "Why do that to us."

"Because I really found her. I promise."

"Uh huh sure you did. I can't believe you, this is low, even for you." And with that I left him alone, and went to talk to Daniel.

Whenever something happened, Daniel just buries himself more in work. Over the past few years he became more and more of a workaholic. I know I know usually the oldest brother becomes the workaholic, but we never have been the typical case. Nate's the distant, sad one, Daniel's the workaholic, Jake's the asshole, and I'm the peacekeeper.

I knock on the door, "Come in Tyler." I lightly chuckle, he always knew when it was me. I walk in, "If you're here to see if I'm ok, I'm fine." I roll my eyes.

"Uh huh suuurrre you are, and I'm a fairy. Come on Daniel, tell me the truth. It didn't even hurt you a little?" He looks at me and his eyes look cold and mean, I know I probably sound like a complete girl, but they do.

"No Tyler I'm not hurt because I gave up hope a long time ago for ever finding her. How are you doing? You're running around, making sure everyone else is ok, but did you ever stop to see how you're doing? We love you for trying to take care of us and make sure we're happy, but sometimes you need to stop and worry about yourself."

I sat there and thought about how I feel, I too had given up hope in finding her. So I answered him, "I'm fine. I've given up long ago, but Nate hasn't, and it hurt him alot."

"I know, but he won't talk to us, so we just have to give him space." Then he went back to work and I left the room.
