Ash's POV

He came around to my door and opened it for me. When I got out, I looked up and put my head back down so fast that I could have gotten whiplash from it. I put my head back down because in front of me stood not one, not two, but three very intimidating men.

Actually, you find almost everyone intimidating because of how weak you are soooo.... I thought.

I heard someone's breath slightly hitch and got even more nervous. I knew I shouldn't have gotten in the car. Now I'm gonna die. I'm gonna be murdered by four gorgeous, scary men, and there's nothing I can do about it. And what do I have to show for the pathetic thing I call my life, nothing. I haven't even found a best friend yet. Not to mention someone to spend the rest of my life with.

I could feel the air get tense as we stood in the driveway. Then heard one say, "So uh who's your uh friend?"

"Oh you know just someone I met at the grocery store." The way he put emphasis on that, made me think that it had a different meaning, but I didn't dwell on it.

"Ah well are you going to come inside or are we going to stand in the driveway all day looking like morons?" Another one said, though I still didn't look up to try and find out which one it was.

I followed them inside making sure to keep notice of my surroundings. The house seemed normal enough, a little big, but still normal. Now they on the other hand seemed a bit weird, just a bit though.

I wanted to ask why he wanted to hang out with me. Why, out if all the overly pretty girls, he chose to hang out with me, the dullest girl in town. I didn't though, because that's rude and mean. So instead I stood there awkwardly, taking in Jake's and I'm assuming his brothers' interactions. They seemed like a normal enough family, but I know how much "looking normal" can be deceiving.

Out if the corner of my eye, I noticed one of the brothers walking toward me, "Hi, I'm Nate. And you are."

"Ash"

"What a nice name."

"Thanks"

"Yup. You hungry?"

"No, thank you though."

"Ok just let one of us know if you do get hungry."

"Ok." They seem like nice enough people, but you never know.
