"Oh good morning sleeping beauty." Blake said handing me over a plate of pancakes. My mouth watered at the smell and for the first time in a long time I was actually happy. I couldn't stop smiling.

"What time is it?" I asked yawning a bit.

"7:30. If you want I'll drive Noah to school." I gave him a confused look.

"You dont need to spend the night i'm fine." I giggled. Noah stood up and went over to the curtains opening them a bright light shined into the room. "You already did?" I spoke shyly. "Thank you."

"No problemo." He sat down at the table with me and motioned for Noah to come over to. We all sat there happily munching on our breakfast.

"Thanks for breakfast." I smiled grabbing my bags. "I owe you one"

"You could give me a ride to school." He smiled shyly. I giggled again. Since when do I giggle? Since when do I even smile?

"Deal" we shook hands and then headed out the door, in time for my cell phone to start blaring out i hate everything about you.

"Nice tone." He stated smirking at me I rolled my eyes, if only he knew.

"Hello?"

"Chloe Daniels,we need to talk!" My mothers voice boomed back.

"What is it?"

"Chloe, I can't come home." She stated sadly. Even though I knew she wasn't sorry.

"Where are you?" I asked angrily.

"It's not really any of your buisness, but I met someone." She got quiet for a minute. "I'll still send you money, and pay your bills." With that she hung up. I was used to my mother calling me, telling me she was never going to come back, she hasn't been home in ten months, I wasn't expecting her back.

"Whats wrong Clo?" Noah asked buckling into his seat.

"Just Angie." Our mom never let Noah call her mom it was always just Angie.

"Oh, I dont like her." Noah had no idea that she was his mom. Heck he thought I was his mom even though ive told him plenty of times i'm not.

"You do to, now dont talk like that." I scolded him as we started to drive off.

"Whose Angie?" Blake asked tottaly clueless.

"Our mother." I whispered. Blake nodded in understanding.

I cant belive she's doing this.

"Blake, I forgot will you take my car and pick up Noah I wanna go to the doctors and see whats wrong." He nodded. I dont know why but I was really beginning to like Blake. I loved the way his hair sat on top of his head in a cute messy way. I loved how blue his eyes are, like the ocean. His body was defined and muscualr, and he was one of those boys who can make me smile and make me angry all in one sentence.

I caught myself smiling just thinking of him. I glaced over at him tapping his fingers to the beat of the music while Noah chatted on and on about nothing. Life for once was okay. I wasnt worried about money or having a place to stay. Mom promised to send money, I trusted her that she would.

"So you want me to make dinner tonight? Give you a ride home?" Blake asked looking at me.

"You dont have to make dinner but a ride would be nice I dont like walking home at night." Mostly becuase of what happened the last time I did. I then looked over at him, realizing how stupid that sounded. "Wait, it's my car!"

He laughed at me. "Yea but I took care of Noah last night, so I get it for the day."

I shrugged. Our car was a peice of crud and he promised to put gas in it.

"Well i'm gonna make you dinner, I swear i'm a good cook." He smirked. I already knew he was he made me the best pancakes I had ever tasted. "So what happened with you and Williams yesterday?" I gave him a weird look but then remembered my little out burst. Pullin up and letting Noah out of the car, I gave him a hug and he ran to Blake giving him a tight hug.

"Protect my Clo." He whispered loudly to Blake. Blake ruffled his hair and promised he would. Noah ran off into school and Blake and I got back in the car.

"I really will, Chloe.." He said looking at me smiling a real smile.
