*****Sapphire's POV*****
I agreed to have a study session with Graham tonight. I know what you're thinking 'this girl is crazy to let someone they just met into their house' and I completely agree. I have always had problems with English so Graham offered to show me multiple study methods. Again you may be thinking 'this girl literally just asked her boyfriends best friend to come over before she asked him' and I completely agree again. The problem is.... Zachary is also good and bad, academic wise, in the same areas as I. If I needed help he wouldn't be able to help me as effectively.
Graham arrived at exactly 6:00 like I asked him to. My dad doesn't come home from his new job until 10 o'clock. This should give Graham and I enough time to study before dad gets home. By the way, yes I am a "good girl" and yes I am breaking one of the most important rules of my dad. I really needed this study session. Graham taught me how to find out if I was a visual or sound-ual (I actually don't know what it's called) learner. Turned out I was a visual.
Graham set up many presentations on my computer showing me pretty much everything I will need to know for English, Science, and History this year. No, he cannot tell the future, time travel, or anything along those lines. He hacked into my teachers course history and found out what we would basically be learning. He shiwed me a cool methis calls Tabata where it is 20 in actions and 10 rest. It could be seconds, minutes, or days, but I prefer minutes when it comes to studying.
When Graham walked out of my room to leave, I heard the front door open. I quickly shoved Graham into my room and out the window onto the tree next to it. My roome was on the second floor if you wanted to know. When I ran downstairs ready to greet my dad, I saw Zachary and my dad laughing while drinking tea in the kitchen. I dind't know whether to be happy that dad came home early and Zachary was here or mad because Zachary didn't tell me he was coming and neither did my dad.
They finally noticed me when I walked and stood right between them.
.Ahem.. Cough. What are you doing here?" I tried to say to both of them as politely as my anger would let me.
"I was just about to leave." Zachary said while rushing out of the house.
I knew he was lying. By the way they were talking so deeply they wouldn't have even noticed a fire started in the house. My dad explained that since it was his first day he got off early. Really dad!?!? Early by about three and a half hours. The study session wasn't as long as I had expected. I bet Zachary found out Graham was coming over and decided to come over also.
*****Graham's POV*****
I was frantically pushed out of Sapphire's house. I walked over to my friend's house. He lived right across the street from Sapphire and I live next door to him. But shhhh din't tell Sapphire where I live. It's a secret. My frinds name was Austin Smith. He was kina the son of billionaires. He never liked to show off hos money. He goes to the private school, Sydnie High, a few blocks away from mine.
I had a key to Austin's house. His family trusted us and I had been knowing him since forever. I couldn't wait to share with him all that had happened to me in one day. Besides Zachary, Austin was the guy I would talk about my feelings with. Based on our fight you can probably tell why I didn't go to Zachary to talk about my feelings for Sapphire.
That girl has so many admirers. I could see all the popularguys look our way, which they never have before, and it was probably to look at Sapphire. She gives off the confident vibe that attracts people to her. She doesn't know the effect she has on people. I was about to open Austin's door, after almost tearing up everything to find the key, when I saw Zachary practically running out of Sapphire's house. Hah, her dad probably scared him away.
I quickly unlocked the door and went inside when I saw Zachary walking toards me. I know I'm being a little rude, but I don't want to talk to him. I opened up Austin's door to see him playin a video game (the one tha's not even out yet!). I bet Chelsea would really like to meet Austin. Also, I would be much more comfortable if she ended up with Austin and not Zachary. I mean after me of course.
We call Austin "Texi" because his name is a city in Texas. Even though he complains about the nickname, he uses it for every single one of his usernames in video games. One time he even wrote it on his test instead of his name. Austin is really special. He's rich, but humble. I just sat in his room and waited for him to finish his game.
Meanwhile, I was thinking about what I had taught Sapphire today during our study session. I helped her learn stuff about herself while I also learned it. Maybe I could use it to my advantage someday. Suddenly I realized... Oh no! I left my phone on Sapphire's bed. What id her dad fingds it? I had to go get it. Sapphire's window is never locked so I climbed inside and got my phone.
Unfortunately for me, when I was about to leave Sapphire came out from the bathroon in only a towel around her body. A few moments later her dad walked in. I was completely frozen from shock. When her dad started talking, I hurriedly climbed out of the window, went down the tree, and ran to my house. Thankfully it was located on the other side of their house so they couldn't see that I lived right next door.
*****Zachary's POV*****
When I left Sapphire's house I was heading over to Graham's to talk to him about today. I saw him by Austin's door. I walked towards him when he went inside and most likely locked the door. I waited for Graham by his house. I saw Graham jogging over to the side of Sapphire's house. He was probably climbing through her window to see her.
Only a few moments later I saw him running back to his house. I awaited him by the front door. He stopped running when he reached me. I tried to speak up, but instead he pushed pass me and went inside his house. Stupid Graham, I knew where his extra keys were and I entered the house. I walked up to his room to see him sitting there expressionless on his bed. I asked him what was wrong. He told me everything that happened after he left Austin's house.
I was shocked too. I wondered what I would have done in that same situation. Probably the same as Graham did. I walked back to my house which was only 15 houses away. I'm glad we all live next to each other. Hopefully Sapphire will meet Austin soon and we will all be friends. I would be fine if Sapphire dated one of them, but not right now because she's with me.
