Chapter 1:What's Wrong With Me?

As soon as she opens her eyes she hears a faint"Hello little one," she looks around an sees a somewhat blurry image of the nursery. She

sees the slightly fuzzy shape of

her mother,Feathernose.

She opens her mouth an trys to

speak but she can only mouth out a hello."Why can't she hear me?" She thinks to herself. 'Hello!" She mouths the words again but she just can't say them. "Hmmmmm...."she can barely hear coming from her mother. "Can't she understand me?!" Skykit thinks to herself. She hears a faint "Hmmmmm..." Coming from her mother again. "What's wrong?" Skykit mouths. She sees the fuzzy shape of her mother get up an she feels her mother grab her by her scruff an starts walking. "Where is she taking me?" Skykit asks herself, as her mother and her get out of the nursery. They get near another den, an they go inside. "Well hello Feathernos- you brought Skykit with you! Hello Skykit!" She can barely hear. "H-hello..."Skykit mouths in reply. "Icedapple..." Feathernose says Skykit not noticing at all. Skykit spotted the fuzzy shape of a round mushy object, an she pokes it in curiousity. She can barely hear a, "That's moss Skykit, you can play with it if you want I have plenty." Skykit turns around an sees the fuzzy shape of a(will insert what she looks like later)sitting in front of her. She poked the moss with her paw an it rolled a little, making her jump but she slipped and fell. Icedapple smiles an helped her up on her paws, and Skykit poked the moss again an it moved a tiny bit. She nudged the moss, sending it rolling across the den. Skykit went after it triping a bunch, but managing to get the moss. "Hmmmmm...." Icedapple said were Skykit couldn't hear. She continued to play with the moss ball clumsily.Feathernose and Icedapple start talking quietly, enabling Skykit to hear."Why can't she talk Icedapple? She mouths it out but she can't make a sound," Feathernose asked.Icedapple picked Skykit up an sat her down gentily in front to of the two she-cats. "Skykit can you go to the end of the den?" She asked her quietly. Skykit didn't hear her an she picked up the moss ball an continue to play with it, she tossed it towards Feathernose's tail an she scampered after it, but instead of catching the moss ball she caught her mother a tail

"Could she-"Icedapple broke off as Skykit did the same to her tail."This is fun!" Skykit mouthed. Icedapple did some more tests on Skykit, and sighed. Icedapple announced,"I think she might be..." Feathernose gulped. "She might be Blind an Deaf, she isn't completely but she might be a little bit of both..."
