JUST ONE AUDITION

CHAPTER 1

I woke up to the sound of room service knocking on my door. I groaned a "come in" and threw the employee a 20 dollar bill and a thank you. I sat up and tied my long blonde hair into a messy bun and stretched out my short legs. And when I say short, I mean short. I'm 4 feet 11 inches if I stretch and I'm 15 years old. People say it adds to my "adorable" and "sweet" personality, but I view it as a major downfall. I got out of bed and walked to my breakfast and sat it down on the mini desk in the hotel. The producers at Americas Got Talent, or AGT, pay all the expenses for the contestants to stay at a 5 star hotel, which is nice, but I can't stand the tight living quarters. I'm extremely clausterphobic. After finishing my breakfast is an interview and voice lessons. I'm ecstatic that I made it into the finals. I'm going against Robert the magician and a teen rock band. I don't think I'm going to win, despite the constant remarks from my manager that I have it in the bag.

I changed into a causal floral collared dress. There's another thing about me, I adore the 50s style of clothes. You will never find me in shorts, I despise them. I'm either in a skirt or a dress, and they're always classy. This "adds to my character" is what my manager says. Sometimes her remarks won't get out of my head. I shook her image out of my mind and headed out the door to the hotel hallway.

My phone buzzed in my hand while I was sitting in the limo driving to the interview. My face immediately lit up and I laughed at the tweet displayed on the screen.

"What is it?" Cindy, my manager, remarked from the seat across from me.

"Ed just tweeted something really funny." I responded mid-laugh with a bright smile across my face.

She just rolled her eyes and looked back down on her phone. Lets just say she doesn't approve of my British obsession. She's always talking about how "unprofessional" and "childish" it is. But hey, I'm a teenage girl, what do you expect?

The interview went well, it was typical. How did I get my start, where was I from, all of the basic questions. It took about an hour, which is such a long time in One Direction Land. When I went back on my phone, it was bursting with a whole batch of new rumors that no one knows are true. I laugh every time people believe in the most unbelievable things. I spent the rest of the way back to the hotel following fans and liking their pictures. Their reactions are the cutest things. Well actually, America calls ME the cutest thing. I don't understand it, but what I do understand is that I'm supposedly the "next big star" in the music culture. And I don't need Cindy to tell me that, I've already been told by millions.

{okay sorry it was kind of boring, I just needed to sort of set up the situation, the character, all that jazz hahaha. I'll update every day. Don't worry, the boys come in soon! love you all, tell me what you think and vote! xoxo E}
