The mystery man let out a protective growl. "DO NOT TOUCH HER" Mystery man some how gets me out of Jake's grasp and into him. My skin tingled with excitement as he wrapped his arms tightly around my body. Once he did, everyone in the room was thinking the same thing.

I stroked my mate's back to calm him down. Right now it felt like it was just the two of us in the room. His breathing slowed down and he let go of his grip a bit.

"So the wedding will be in a month from now..." Jake stated, ruining the moment.

"Jake what are you talking about? I just found my mate. I'm not gonna marry you." Why would he think that I would still marry him? He's crazy if he thought I actually would.

"But that's the deal, you marry the future alpha of Dark Moon." Wow, he's really trying with this whole marriage thing.

"Look son, Alexandra has just found her mate. You can't expect her to marry you can you?" Alpha Tyler looked at his son with genuine curiosity. We all did.

"I'm sorry Travis, the deal will stay the same as long as Alexandra and Lucas remain together. That should work for everyone." Everyone in the room nodded in agreement except one person. Take a wild guess who it was. If you said Jake you are 100% correct.

"No dad, the deal wasn't for her to be with Luke, it was me. She's mine. You can't take her from me!" I stayed in Lucas's arms in shock. This guy's kinda crazy. I'm surprised that Lucas stayed quiet this whole time. He was shaking when Jake started talking about marrying me.

"Jake I'm not gonna marry you, how many times do we--" I was interrupted mid sentence by a loud growl coming from behind me.

The growl went on until the room was completely silent. "She's mine! Don't talk to her, don't look at her, and don't even think that you're gonna marry her! Get that through your head right now because She. Is. Mine!" I cheered in my head. 1 because this is the most that he's spoken and may I say that his gets sexier with every word. And 2 because he makes me feel wanted.

I could see Jake shift and run out of the pack house. The rest of us were still in shock from what Lucas just said. He broke the silence once again to tell my Alpha and his father thank you for not letting Jake have me.

"Go and pack Alex, I'll be waiting here for you." His hands wrapped around me for a hug again, made my spine shiver. "I wonder what else his hands could do" I could feel Jasmine smirking in the back of my mind. She's a mess. "Hey! I heard that!"

I went upstairs to my room to pack for whatever reason Lucas wanted me to. Its weird that I met him just 10 minutes ago and I feel like I've know him forever. Is that normal?

So far I have a few pairs of jeans, some shirts, and my bras and underwear packed up. This should be all I need for now, Lucas never really told me how long we would be gone for.

Walking back downstairs I'm kind of excited. I don't have a reason for it, I'm just happy.

True to his word, Lucas was sitting on the couch right behind where he told me he would be. Once he saw me he got off the couch and asked if I was ready.

My father and Alpha walked back in the room after I did. "Lucas where are we going? What did I have to pack a bag for?" I was full of questions and no answers.

"I'm taking you back to my pack love. I wouldn't let you stay here without me and I have to get back to my Alpha duties." Ohh this makes a whole lot more sense now. I actually want to leave, I'm 17 and have never even left the pack borders before.

My dad walked up to me and engulfed me into a giant bear hug. "Goodbye honey, be safe, and call whenever you need anything." Like he would answer, this is just apart of his whole good parent facade that he keeps up in front of others.

"Bye dad." I said with a monotone voice. You can't miss someone who was barely in your life.

I didn't have a lot of friend here in the pack, I guess no one wanted to be friends with the Beta's daughter. It's fine though, you get used to being alone after a while.

Lucas picked up my bags and brought them to his car. His muscles flexed under his white shirt. Was he sculpted by the gods or something? Lucas caught me starting and smirked. "Don't worry baby girl you can have all of this, just say the word." Damn him and his god like looks! I stood their in shock from what he said.

He places me in the front seat of his hummer and revs the engine. "Soon you'll be calling me daddy baby girl." Lucas said under his breathe, but it was just loud enough for me to hear....

Hey guys! This chapter was a bit shorter and later than it should be. Sorry for that. I will start update once a week though so don't worry.
