Chapter 10 ~
(Sarah's POV)
“I didn’t break up with you!” Cody said, actually sounding confused. What did he mean? Does he have memory loss?
“You broke up with me on Skype, unless someone hacked your account and did it for you.” I joked.
“Maybe someone did.” Cody said quietly.
“Oh yeah, and why would they do that? So they can have me all to themselves? Tell me why Cody!” I said angrily. This boy was really getting on my nerves, and that’s saying something!
”Hang on, I’ll be right back, don’t hang up!” Cody said and then silence followed.
I sighed and sat down on my bed. What if someone really hacked Cody’s Skype account? Was I yelling at him for no reason?
“Sarah, are you OK?” Clown called out to me through my door, banging the door at the same time.
“I’m fine!” I snapped. “If you knock that door one more time, I swear I will come out there and rip your hair out!” I shouted.
“Sorry.” Clown muttered, knowing that I probably would at least try to rip his hair out.
“Sarah?” A voice said loudly. I jumped and squealed a little, not knowing who the voice belonged to to or where it was coming from.
“W-who’s there?” I stuttered.
“Cody.” I gave a sigh of relief but then anger boiled up inside of me.
“What?” I hissed.
“When I first went to chat to you, I found my Skype logged on.” Cody started. “And I just went through my history and it turns out someone had in fact hacked onto my Skype.”
“Really? So you didn’t dump me?” I asked hopefully. Yes, I was mad at Cody, but still loved him. Feelings don’t just go away like that.
“No Sarah, I love you more than anything!” Cody said quietly. “I love you Sarie.”
I smiled and opened my mouth to say I loved him back when there was a knock at my door.
Fur bubbled inside me. Can’t Clown just leave me alone? He just had to wreck this moment!
“Leave me alone Clown, I’m going to rip your head off!” I yelled angrily.
”Jeez, it’s Brook, not Clown. I’m just calling to tell you tea’s ready.” Brook said innocently.
“Oh, sorry Nerd, tell Dad I’ll be down there in a minute.”
“Kay, whatever.” Brook dragged on the R.
“Hello?” I called happily. I got no reply so I called out again, but still no reply. I pulled the phone away from my ear and looked at the phone. The call had ended.
I stared at the phone with my mouth open.
“He hung up on me!” I cried. “I can’t believe him! That idiot hung up on me!” I screamed ad threw the phone onto the floor. “Stupid Cody, stupid idiot.”
And there I was, thinking that I could forgive him and we could make up. I guess I was wrong.
I stomped out of my room and down stairs into the kitchen, where Clown was sitting with his head in his hands. When he heard me come in, his head shot upwards and he looked at me worriedly.
“What did he say?” He asked.
“He said someone hacked his account.” I shrugged. “And that he loves me and he would never dump me.”
“Are you two going out again?” He said after giving a sigh of relief.
“No.” I said simply and grabbed a can of Pepsi from the fridge.
“No?” He looked at me questioningly.
“He hung up on me.” I took a swig of the Pepsi and then walked out of the kitchen.
“Wait, he hung up on you? That bastard will die.” Clown muttered angrily.
“How are you going to kill a celebrity?” I called out to him, and when I got no reply, I smiled smugly, even though he couldn’t see me. “That’s what I thought.”
_____
(Cody's POV)
I banged my phone furiously on the shelf for the third time. Why did the battery have to run out? She’s probably thinking I hung up on her! Just great!
“Shawn, get in here now!” I yelled, putting my phone on charge.
“What’s up, Cody?” He said casually, walking into my room.
“I want everyone that was in this building this afternoon, in the meeting room now!” I ordered.
“Why?” He asked curiously.
“You’ll find out when they’re all there.” I muttered and walked quickly towards the meeting room with my laptop in my hand/
“Everyone that was in this building, this afternoon, at what time?” Shawn asked.
I opened my laptop and went to my history.
“From one pm to two pm.” I said firmly and shut it down.
“OK.” Shawn disappeared and then returned a few minutes later, with only a group of people.
“Is that it?” I asked, a little bit stunned. I thought there would be more people than this.
“Yep,” Shawn popped the P, “There was me, George, Rachel, Lewis and Ben.” He pointed to a few of the crew, “Oh and Campbell. He’s just not here right now.” He finished.
“Well get him!” I yelled and started pacing back and fourth.
“Sorry, OK.” Shawn disappeared and second time and I walked up to Ben.
“Were you in my room at the time one twenty three?” I asked seriously.
“No, Cody, I was with Lewis and George, planning the design for your next tour.” Ben said honestly. I could tell he was honest, because he didn’t twitch or move a muscle. Well, apart from his mouth.
“What about you, Rachel?” I stepped over to Rachel.
“No Cody, I was with you remember.” She smiled at me. Oh yeah, she was on set with me.
“Sorry.” I smiled sheepishly.
“Cody, here’s Campbell.” Shawn called out and entered the room with Campbell.
“Hey Cody.” Campbell said. “What’s going on?”
“Oh, nothing.” I smiled at him and then walked over to Shawn.
“Were you in my room yesterday at one twenty three?” I asked him, eyeing him curiously.
“I was on set with Rachel and you.” He answered smoothly. I decided to believe him and then I turned to my final ‘criminal’.
“Were you in my room at one twenty three this afternoon?” I asked Campbell.
“Uh, I was watching you on stage.” His eye twitched and his jaw quivered, showing that he was lying.
“You!” I gasped. “You did it!”
Ok well there you have it ANOTHER CLIFF HANGER I KNOW!! you're probably all hating on me right now -.- but ehh lol um yaah
Fun Fact: If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months, and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat 1 cup if coffee! ^^
