Chica's p.o.v.
The boy had started out walking at a normal pace, but now he was running at top speed, and I found it kind of hard to keep up. "Can we... slow down?" I panted. He slowed to a walk again, muttering something like, "Sure." I walked up beside him. "So..." I asked, "Who are you? How did I become human? Where did you come from? Where are your parents?" He sighed. "It's not my name, but I guess you can call me Freddy. Or just Fred, since you call the toy Freddy animatronic Freddy." Fred responded. I blinked and dumbly said, "er, excuse me...? You aren't one of the spirits... a-are you?" I shivered. He gave my dreaded response, "Yeah, I am." I stopped walking. He looked back and said, "What is it?"
"I'm so sorry..." I mumbled.
"It's nothing."
"But you had everything taken away from you..."
"I don't think about it anymore."
"You didn't even ge-"
"It's nothing!" He cut me off, a slight hint of anger in his voice. "Sorry..." I said quietly, walking back up to him. "It's fine." He said simply. We continued to walk in silence.
--------
Fred led me up to a blank wall. There was a giant lock and heavy chains bounding the wall, and I wondered why someone would chain up a wall. I could hear angry yells and desperate sobs coming from the other side, along with what sounded like sarcastic growls. Fred looked at the wall nervously. "You can see it too, right?" He glanced at me. "No..." I said shakily. His eyes widened and he ran his hand along the wall, then suddenly I saw bloodstains covering the wall. I staggered and fell to my knees. Fred looked over at me, concerned. "T- er, Chica?" He said, then walked over and kneeled next to me. I was breathing heavily. "Blood... Everywhere..." I muttered. I looked him in the eye. "I can't do this!" I said, a hint of panic in my voice. Fred remained completely calm. "Yes, you can. You're the only one who can help them." He said, his tone calming me. I looked around. Written, all over the hall, in blood, 'You can't, you can't, you can't.' It nearly extinguished all of my hope, until I saw small, white writing. It almost seemed to glow slightly, and I was surprised I hadn't seen it earlier. The messy handwriting was hard to read, but eventually I made out the words, 'Save them.' I looked at the door, eyes slightly narrowed, and stood, walking over to it. I put my hand to the door, which burned greatly, but I pushed. Nothing. I pushed harder. Still, no movement. I shoved the door with both hands. It moved about a millimeter. I sighed angrily and pushed again, my back to the door. It finally opened, after nearly burning my skin off. I collapsed, barely getting a glimpse of Poppy and Bonbon's surprised faces.
-------
I woke up on the floor, Fred, Poppy, and Bon leaning over me. Poppy seemed very worried, Bon very confused, and Fred very pleased. I sat up. Poppy immediately started rapidly asking questions,
"How'd you find us?"
"How'd you get in?"
"Why are you a human?"
"Who is this other kid?"
"Where were you?"
"Did you get attacked?"
It hurt my head, and I looked desperately at Fred. He nodded and looked at Poppy, saying, "Give her a bit of rest." Poppy rubbed her arm. "Right... Sorry..." She replied. I sighed with relief. Fred looked back at me. "But not too much rest, we still have to find Mangle and T- ah, Freddy." He forced a joking smile. I hung my head. "Let's just go." I got up and walked out, not waiting for a second opinion.
