HARMONY POV
I woke up at 5:00 to walk James down to Ashley. Why so early because Jake never is up until 12:00 so why not hurry up and get James safe before he really does get hurt. I got James dressed and we started our walk. I made it to her house at 6:15. I knocked 3 times and waited. She opened up the door with wide eyes. She just stood there starring at me. I cleared my throat because this was awkward. She invited us in. I walked in and sat james on the couch.
Harmony- okay james you will be staying here for a couple of weeks. No school okay. I will go pick up your homework everyday and please be good for Ashley please. Also I left 50 dollars in your pocket ONLY use it for emergency cases.. love you big head.
Ashley- where you going for a couple of weeks.
Harmony- I just need you to keep him please. he is not aloud to go to school for them weeks and also I will drop his homework to you at school in a special folder. I left him money just make sure he is safe. That's all ill be back hopefully to get him.
Ashley- what do you mean hopefully.......... do you not plan on returning?
Harmony- just please do it Ashley thanks so much
I was almost out the door and I felt somebody tugging on my leg. I looked down to see James hugged on my leg tightly and crying.
James- pwease swissy don't gwo two hwimm!!!!!!!!!!
I cried and picked him up and gave him some ice cream to distract him. I walked out the door and looked back at them again. I shook my head and made my way back home. As I was walking home I walked past a phone company. I went in and saw ALOT of Jakes boys working here. I went in and started looking for a new phone. 1 of his boys came up to me.
Boy- what chu need ma?
Harmony- oh I need a new phone
Boy- does Jake know you getting one
Harmony- i don't need to run anything by Jake he aint running shit around here
Boy- why you gotta be so stubborn. He just love you that's why he doing all this
Harmony- fuck him and his love and nevermind ill go buy a new phone somewhere else.
Boy- ight ma be careful
i walked out and made my way to the bus stop. The bus drove up. i got on and paid my fare. i made it downtown and started walking around. i felt my phone vibrating. i unlocked it and saw a text from Jake.
jake- so you trying to get a new phone without me knowing
Harmony- aint nobody worried about you finding out i sure don't Jake
Jake- why you trying to act hard baby and where you at i hear a lot of people in the background.
Harmony- somewhere you aren't toodles darling
i hung up and walked into a new Phone store. i looked around and didn't see no Jake boys in here. I walked up to this white man and asked him for a Samsung galaxy 4. i transferred all of my crew contacts to it. i called Ashley number. She probably wont pick up since the number is unknown.
Ashley- hello?
Harmony- Ashley?
Ashley- HARMONY!!!!!!!!!
Harmony- shhh i just wanted to let you know this is my new cell phone don't let anybody know please okay.
