Harmony pov
I haven't been in school for 2 weeks. I'm scared to face Ashley and the rest of my crew. They all still text my phone but I don't respond because if I do Jake will be here in 2.5 seconds beating the living shit out of me. How? well I guess he has a device keep track of what is going on with my phone. So he can see everything being done. I decided to leave James with Ashley. I visited him last week. I haven't seen him this week because he scared to be around me. He knows about Jake hurting me but I told him he better not tell anyone or imam whip him. Since today is Friday I decided to finally go to school. My mom took my makeup and dumped it down the toilet last week so I have to go to school showing my new bruises. I got dressed and grabbed my bag and phone. I walked out the front door and walked down the street. I saw Ashley, Keith, and Jordan at James bus stop with him. I kept my head down and tried walking past them. James ran up to me and hugged my legs tightly. I heard him crying so I bent down and hugged him. I heard his buss pull up so I let him go and he ran over to Ashley. I started walking away but then somebody yanked my arm gently. I knew exactly who it was. This same touch gave me butterflies and made me weak. I turned around and kept my head down. He lifted my chin with his index finger and I looked up at him. He stared at my face. He started touching the cuts and bruises. I felt my phone vibrate. I looked down and saw a text from Jake.
ENEMY- move away from him before I kill you and James Im not playing
I started getting scared. I looked around looking for Jake but couldn't see him. Everybody was looking at my face. I moved out of Jordans embrace and ran to school. I made it to school late and walked straight into the class with an excuse note so my grades wouldn't be bad. I went straight to my seat and sat my head down and cried. I heard the bell ring. I jumped up and ran out the class. I went through the whole morning people whispering about my face. I walked down to my locker for lunch. I grabbed my bag and closed my locker. I walked down the halls getting stares. I went into the cafeteria and my old "crew" started looked at me. I went straight to the line. I grabbed a Gatorade and some large fries. I paid and started walking away. I felt somebody grab my arm roughly. I flinched and tensed up because I knew this touch. I turned around to see nobody other than Jake. He whispered something in my ear. I couldn't make out what he said so I stood there staring at his face.
Jake- say something
Harmony- i.i uh didn't hear you
Jake- I said why was you with them this morning
Harmony- I was walking to school.
Jake- bullshit harmony what did I tell you about being around them?
Harmony- its the truth Jake I swear
Jake- your still lieing!!! harmony tell me what I said will happen if I find out you were around them
Harmony- you were going to hurt my brother
Jake- hmmm i wonder if he is okay right now
i jumped out my seat and the chair fell over. I looked around and the whole cafeteria was starring at us. i looked at Jake.
Harmony- DID YOU DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
Jake- lower your fucking tone when your speaking to me!!!!
Harmony- JAKE IM NOT PLAYING DID YOU FUCKING DO IT!!!!!!!!
He started laughing and he moved closer to me. He pecked my lips.
Jake- who you getting big with
Harmony- jake don't touch him please
He pulled out his cellphone and pressed one button. He screamed in the phone so everybody can hear.
Jake- KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
He hung up and walked away from me. i started crying. i fell to the floor and cried. The whole cafeteria was still starring. I saw somebody hand in my face. i looked up and saw Ashley. i pushed her out my way and got up and ran out the school . i kept running and running. i ran into James school. i walked up to the front desk.
Harmony- HI MAM IS JAMES JOHNSON STILL IN HIS CLASS
Lady- i don't know let me see the cameras
She started checking the camera. She obviously doesn't know who james was so she told me the room number. i ran to the room and saw James sitting in class at his desk playing with the leggos. i walked into his class and went straight to the teacher.
Harmony- hi i came to pick up my son James Johnson early
Teacher- okay
Harmony- is there any homework he needs
Teacher- no Have a good weekend
Harmony- you too miss
i walked over to James and picked him up and hugged him tightly. When i put him down he looked at me and had tears in his eyes. i grabbed his stuff and we started our long long long walk home.
But the question is Who did Jake talk to on the phone?
And if my it wasn't my brother who did he 'KILL'?
