Boston memorial hospital

It was about two hours after jack had arrived at the hospital that Jack and Jackie finally had time to talk about what the doctor had said.

"There's really no use in trying to talk to you is there" ? Jackie asked him.

"No there's isn't anything to talk about I have to have the surgery done or I will be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life and that is completely out of the question" jack said as he rolled his eyes towards the ceiling.

"But the doctor said it was just a 5o percent chance that the surgery will even be successful" Jackie said.

"Well that's a chance I got to take" jack snapped.

A few hours later....

Jack had had the surgery and was in the recovery room, the doctor was concerned because he thinks the operation on his back was botched, and he's not even sure jack will ever wake up again.

"Yes because being unconscious is so much better than being in a wheelchair for the rest of your life" Jackie cried as she held Jacks hand and could feel the hot wet tears start to fall down her checks.

The next few days seemed to drag by for Jackie who refused to leave Jacks side, his condition had grown worse and he also got a pretty nasty infection in his back and his priest had been called in to read him his last rites. Everything looked very grim for the
Very young man.

However everything changed on the evening of his fifth day of dying, Jackie had left the hospital and came back with the girls and when they walked back into his room , he was awake.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy your finally up" bella squealed with delight as she bounced on the hospital bed.

Caroline wasnt very far from her sister and soon was beside of Bella and Jack as they both started telling him everything that had happened since he'd been asleep.

Jackie was too astonished to say anything she just stood at the hospital door and started crying.

"What's wrong" jack asked confused at her tears

"Your awake, your still alive, but how they said you may " she started rambling

"Yes I am, it's me I am ok" jack whispered as Jackie came over to the bed and threw herself in his arms.

For some reason that none of them knew God had saved jack that day!

Palm Beach Florida the Kennedy summer home

A couple days after jack woke up, him, jackie, bella and Caroline all flew down to the Kennedys summer home for Jacks back to heal.

Jack was lying on his stomach on a hospital bed that they had put in the spare room, Jackie was also in the room reading a book in a chair in the corner.

"Jackie"? Jack asked

"Yes jack, I am right here" she said as she laid her book on the dresser and sat down on the bed beside of him.

"I, uh wanna thank you" he said.

"For what"? She asked confused

"For not leaving my side since I fell at my birthday party" he said

"How did you know that"

"Bobby told me, he said that you refused to leave my side and would talk to me like I was awake".

"Ya well I didn't want you to wake up and be alone".

"Oh daddy your gonna look beautiful"
Caroline exclaimed as she added more blue eyeshadow to Jacks eyes.

"Oh ya so beautiful, now make a kiss face" bella instructed as she tried and put the dark red lipstick on his lips.

"What are you all doing"? Jackie asked her girls as she walked into the bedroom.

"Making daddy beautiful" bella said.

"Ya so he will feel better" caroline added.

"Oh my I see" Jackie said as she noticed Jacks face and saw he looked like a clown.

"I have to get a picture of this" Jackie called as she ran out off the bedroom to find her camera.

"Now daddy yous gotta put on your tierra" bella said as she put the pink furred princess crown with the fake multicolored jewels on it on top of Jacks head

"And don't forget your pretty necklace and bracelets" caroline cried as she took the multicolored bracelets on his arms and the pink necklace that said angel around his neck.

"So girls how do I look" ? jack asked

"Perfect daddy" caroline said as Jackie walked back into the room with her camera.

"Oh my you look fabulous" she said as she snapped a picture of Jack and the girls.

"Make copies of that for all my friends and families, oh and we could also use that on our campaign posters" jack said.

"Oh yes, that will definitely make people vote for you, who could say no to a clown" Jackie said laughing.

"OK girls, it's time to go get in the tub and than its bedtime" Jackie said

"Awe but mom" bella started

"No buts" Jackie said as she put her hands on her hips.

"OK OK come on caroline" bella said as both girls kissed jack on the head.

"Love you girls" jack called after him.

"Love you" was hollered back as the girls skipped out of the room.

"I am sorry about that, I was cleaning up after supper" Jackie said to jack

"It's OK, love those girls and am glad they had fun" jack said.

"Ya and they definitely love you too"

"I am going to find them if it's the last thing I do, I could care less about her anymore but I want my girls back"
A man with unruly hair and a beer bottle yelled.

"Um OK sir, here's your pizza and it will be 5 dollars" the pizza guy said.

"Forget about the damn pizza, you can help me get my girls back and take Kennedy down"!
