CHAPTER VI

Natasha's POV

I found myself walking around BGC. It was a carefree Friday afternoon and the weather isn't that hot since the rainy season had already begun.

There are so many thoughts that running in my mind right now.

Lately, I've been thinking of what should I do with my life. I mean, I have everything. Well, not everything. I don't have a love life. But it doesn't matter anyways.

After the talking to Juami again, I realized that maybe I should really face Jeric in order to end and have a closure with him. It doesn't mean that I'm going to forget him at all, but I think I should move on now. Maybe he was just a chapter in my life where I was also happy and besides, I learned a lot of things with Jeric.

But with Juami, I feel like everything's... okay. I am happy. Siguro totoo nga yung sinasabi nilang mas okay if the two of you started as a friends then best friends and eventually, to become as lovers. I don't care what the other people will say or call me, as long as I'm happy, I don't care. Wala akong ginagawang masama.

I'm about to go in at Jamba Juice when someone called my name.

"Natasha?"

Lumingon ako to see who called my name, and to my surprise, it was Jeric.

"Jeric." I acknowledged his presence.

This is awkward.

"So... What are you doing here?" He broke the awkward silence.

"I was going to order my daily jamba fix, how about you?"

"The same thing. I was at the gym and I thought of buying Jamba Juice after my workout."

So that explains his gym outfit. I looked at him, he became more... muscular and buff.

Despite his height, he's still a hot stud for me.

SHIT. What am I thinking. Stop, Natasha. Stop.

"Uhm. Tash, are you okay?" He asked me.

"Uh-yeah. I'm okay."

"Ah okay."

Back to awkward silence.

"Are you free after this?" We asked in unison.

"Hahaha." We chuckled.

"Yes, I'm free." I told him.

"That's good. Do you want to grab some dinner?"

I hesitated at first, but I realized that I need to talk him.

"Yeah, dinner sounds good. I'll just order my drink then let's go." I smiled.

"Great."

To be honest, I'm really distracted with his flaunting biceps and oh gosh, he's wearing a fitted shirt. I can see his pecs and abs. I bit my lower lip.

"Next customer please!"

"Natasha, ikaw na." He chuckled.

"Ah- sorry. Okay."

After ordering our drinks, we decided to sit down first and enjoy our drinks.

"So... how are you?" He asked me.

In my mind, I was saying that I'm not okay. But of course, I wouldn't say that.

"I'm doing good. How about you?"

"I'm busy with school and basketball. UAAP na ulit eh."

"Ah.. Kaya mo 'yan!" I told him and I looked away while taking a sip of my smoothie.
