February 30th, 2027
We were all sound asleep still. Resting up from our travels. We meant to leave first thing, but we over slept.
We heard this booming roar outside. It was so loud it shook the room and the building we were in went into panic. I rolled up off the floor and looked outside.
"Shit, Lucas! Lucas!"
"What?" We looked out the window and found this towering titan right outside our window. It's roar sent the town into panic. I watched as people were trying to run away, hiding and screaming. I jumped into action.
"Grab your weapons! Get the people to evacuate now!" I ordered. Our men jumped into action and got to work on getting some of the residents out of the town.
"Get everyone out now and head to the boats." Lucas ordered.
"You five, come with me." We marched up to the roof. It wasn't easy getting there. Every step the titan took the whole place shook, making it hard to get anywhere.
We finally got up to the roof and watched as the titan walked away from us.
"Okay, the five of you, check out the top floors of these buildings and get the people out of here." They jumped off and left, leaving Lucas and me on the roof.
"Ready?" Lucas asked.
"Yup." We ran after the titan as it made its way through town
"I want that thing in the ground!"
"Run it into the forest first!" Lucas yelled back. I followed Lucas as we climbed up the tallest building we could get to so that we had a decent height to jump from. We ran till we got close enough to it's shoulders.
"Now!" We jumped on to the back of the titan and started irritating it. I stabbed my sword into its neck and it started jolting around and knocking into buildings.
"Ross!" Lucas yelled waving his staff, "hurry up!"
"I'm working on it!" I tried to pull my sword out and turn the titan to the forest.
"Brace yourself!" I yelled. The titan was moving towards a transport door and I tried to get it to move in the other way. I managed to get him to move away from it. Suddenly I heard someone shot off two rounds causing the titan to fall backwards a bit, causing me to lose my grip and I started to fall.
"No!"
"Ross!" Lucas shouted. I fell back off of the titan and we hurdling to the ground.
This is it, this is the end?
I felt my body become light as a feather, the wind in my ears, and I was frozen.
Suddenly I felt something grab my arm. I was hanging off of a roof with someone holding on to me. I looked up and I saw him. The one who called himself 'The Hunter' holding my arm.
"Hold on!"
