As soon as I got home I dashed to my bathroom to take a bath. After all, I was still soaking wet from the rain outside.
After I got the bath running I poured some bubble bath soup with the scent of lavender, in to the tub. Bubbles immediately formed and the lovely scent of lavender filled my bathroom.
I then got nude and slipped myself into the tub. The warming water soothed my skin and I felt as if I was in a spa.
Realizing I haven't talked to Liz all day I decided to grab my phone off of the counter and phone her."Hello"
"Hey Liz it's Laura "
"Oh Heyy I haven't talked to you all day"
"I know! I saw you but you seemed busy so I didn't bother"
"Oh yeah I was busy. I had all this summer reading that I needed to catch up on because you know me, last minute Liz!"
"Samee I haven't finished reading either"
"See this is exactly why you are my bestfriend!"We both chuckled over the fact that we are probably the most lazy people in the whole entire universe.
"OMG Laura, have you heard of the new kid!"
"Ugh yes unfortunately, he such an asshat"
"A hot asshat if you asked me!"
"Well it's a good thing I wasn't asking!"
"Oh come on Laura have you seen him? It's like the gods sent him down for all teenage girls to worship him"
"Ehh, he alright. I just don't see what everyone else see"
"You never do laur, but that's what I like about you! Your always the needle in the haystack!"I guess Liz was right. I have always seemed to be the girl with a different opinion than everyone one else. Always the odd one out. Most of the time I liked it. Having the feeling of being unique. Other times I felt that it was wrong to be different. That I needed to be like everyone else to succeed.
Liz and I chatted for quite awhile, until I saw how wrinkly my skin had been because of the water. I then told her that I needed to get out the bath before I turn into my great grandmother.
After I changed into a set of pajamas for the night I heard the front door opening up. Our jet black door opened to reveal my mom. She was talking on the phone so she waved me a hello. I went back upstairs for not long because I heard an alarming voice calling my name. My mother.
I sprinted downstairs to see what my mother wanted. "Laura didn't i tell you clean the kitchen before I get home from work!". I'd had totally forgot because I was too distracted with my long conversation with Liz. "Oh yes mom I forgot I am sorry". I was attempting to head to the kitchen to clean but I was stopped with a grip to my arm.
"No forget it! Your so useless just like your father! I can't believe your turning into that monster!". My mothers grip on my arm tighten, I winced in pain. I could feel the bruises forming across my forearm.
"Mom your hurting me!" I yelped. "Does it look like I care!" My mother yelled back. "Mom please!" I cried. "Go to your room you worthless piece of trash!" My mom hollered.
With that she let go of my arm and I ran up to my room. See the thing is with my mom is that she suffers from a bipolar disorder. She suffers real bad. In a minute she can go from a loving mother, to an abusive mother. I know she can't control it but sometimes I wish she can feel the pain I feel from her everyday.
That's how my father left us. He got fed up with my mothers disorder and left us when I was the age of 4. I don't really remember much of him. Except for the fact that we look really alike.
I covered my face with my white comforter and cried into my pillow. My arm was really bruised and it hurts like hell its self. I just wanted this night to be over.A/N: soo how did you guys like it? Haven't uploaded in a century🙄 please comment a rate!
