Many people make promises
Rather if with a ring or a pinky
Or something else
I care for a promise
Because I care about you
I don't need a ring
Nor a pinky
All I need is my promise with you
Because I am in love with you
I need you
Proceeding through each day
Keeping my promise to you
And in the future
I hope our promise stays true
Because the promise I have for you
Is to love you
