chapter 1:how did I get here

It was a good day to rest out of all the days Alexis had been through. So she decided to rest beside a tree for shade. Little did she know she had gotten interrupted by a sweaty,tired looking man coming towards her. ALEXIS,What are you doing here asleep, Said the man.

All I was doing was taking a rest Aires, Said Alexis sleepy. You know you were supposed to meet me and Tamar at the edge of the city to fight of those bizarre creatures Shiro has created, didn't you get my call?Aires questioned.
No, I was asleep,said Alexis. Well since you're here now, you might as well go to the store a few blocks from here,sighed Aires.

Fine,sighed Alexis. What about you,she said. Because I have already done something tiring today,Now it's your turn to do something. Alright,i'm getting up After that she walked all the way to the store to see what the problem was. Out of nowhere she heard yelling outside the store across the street from her.

I have given you two weeks to come up with the money you owe,now WHERE IS IT. It sounded like a 40-year old man. But after that she heard another person who sounds like she was in her 20s.please,I don't have the money yet. Give me another Week,Time has been slow an-

SILENCE,he said. I've had enough of you minors asking me for more time after I've given all of you more than enough time. Now you will pay me back today or I will destroy your store. Alexis came closer to the door to see what his next move would be.

Hmm what should I destroy first? Your shelves looks pretty nice,lots of store type stuff anyone would buy. But what would happen if I made some changes to It.

No please,that's brand new,The woman said. The man destroyed the shelves with some power of lightning. The items and the shelf itself was either in ashes or on fire. Now it was my turn to jump in,I used my power of invisibility to confuse the man and not know where I am at all. I took out my slash and burn sword. The main reason I call my sword slash and burn is because anything that it strikes,It bursts into flames. Though i didn't directly hit the man, I hit a wooden box next to him that set the man flying across the other side of the store. The man groaned before he got back to his feet. Who's that. where are you,SHOW YOURSELF!The man shouted. Alexis quickly exposed herself. Before he said anything,The store clerk/woman stopped us. Stop!this isn't worth destroying my store. At least Take this outside.

Before I could say anything, the man spoke. Why does it matter if your store is destroyed,It was going to be taken down by me anyway. Then he turned to me. And you,the misunderstood powerful teen. It's nice to see someone try to "save the day". Then he chuckled. But I'm trying to do business,stay out of it. Then Alexis spoke. Tearing a store to shreds doesn't sound like business to me. Before Alexis could lay a hand on him,he tried to hit her with lightning,But she quickly moved out the way. You don't know Who you're dealing with do you? Then he tried to hit her again,but she moved out the way. Suddenly Alexis heard a siren outside.

Police,get outside with your hands up. What should I do?She thought. Stop the business man from destroying the store,or go outside to explain what's going on and get hit with lightning from behind...
