CHAPTER 3:elephant in the room

A few days has passed since the weird dream Alexis had,and today was the day of the eclipse. Come on it's 6:45 pm, we're going to be late, shouted Taylor's younger sister,Amelia. She was 8 years old.

Calm down lil sis, we'll be ready in a minute, said Taylor. The eclipse doesn't start for another hour, Alexis's aunt said. She too lived in the big house. Since there were about 3 guest rooms inside. Her name was maria.

When they were all ready,they hopped in Aires's van and went to the Kingdom hall which was in the middle of the city. The Kingdom hall was a big building painted white and pink and had a beautiful decor for the celebration. When they got there they saw Aires's cousin, Eric. Aree, It's nice to see you again,yelled Eric. Aires blushed. Nice to see you again too Eric,Aires said. Is that your brother, maria asked.

Actually,yes he is,Aires said acting like he was at casualty. Have you met my son,john. A little boy peeked his head out of Eric's leg. Wow, i haven't seen him in a while,how old is he, Aires asked. He will be 8 in a few weeks actually. Wow that means that i'm older than him,Amelia said. John stuck his tongue at Amelia. She stuck out her tongue right back at him. Okay you two,that's enough,Maria laughed.
When they went into the building, Alexis looked confused. What's wrong Alex,Taylor asked. Alexis spoke,nothing it's just,in my dream the building looked almost exactly like this,with the wall paint and the decoration. Could your dream have something to do with this as if it was a vision,Taylor asked. Alexis said,probably but- she got interrupted by a guy who looked like he was in his 20s. Attention everyone,welcome to the 5th celebration of the lunar eclipse. My name is Bruno. And as you can see,this big window will behold the sighting of the eclipse. If you haven't noticed why we all came here from many different places watching the eclipse instead of staying at home is because of some of very first people who dwelled here had reached their ultimate power BECAUSE of the same eclipse we're having tonight. He looked at Alexis. You there, what is your name? Alexis,she said. Alexis can you come to the stage please and tell us about yourself? Alexis,looking confused went onto the stage. Uh hello everybody, I have been brought here from two towns over to secure this nation from our arch enemy Shiro from taking over and leading devastation. But what if he's doing this for the greater good,Bruno asked. Alexis made a weird look at Bruno. What are you talking about,for years he's been trying to take over since he was 19. I think it was all good in thought to try to help out than take over if you ask me,Bruno added.

As soon as Alexis was going to say something else,she got interrupted by Bruno again. Oh look at the time the eclipse is starting to become full. Why don't you all head back to your seats to get a better look at it. When everybody got back to their seats,Alexis went to sit with Taylor and her aunt. Aires, Eric and Amelia sat across from them.

Waiters/waitresses came to order their food. When they left Bruno came around their table. Oh hello Alexis, Are they your family? Actually yes they are,she said. He looked at Aires Are you her father. No I'm her mentor actually. Hm, he said understanding. Alexis, may I speak with you,it will only take a minute. Alexis got up and followed Bruno to go outside. Why are we out here,Alexis asked.

Because you are the one of two people that has a higher amount of power than anybody in this room. But that still doesn't tell me the reason why we're here,Alexis said. But it made her wonder who the other person was. She's heard of stories about it,but for some reason she knew there was more to the story than was told. Bruno continued,I have seen that you both have the same powers but some are different. Though the power the that's the same from both of you come even more powerful due to the eclipse, which is the power of fire. So what you mean is that I am almost invincible with that much power,Alexis asked. Well,you could say almost,or you could say completely. What do you mean, Alexis asked.

Bruno spoke,If you could have All of that power within this eclipse,no one can stop you and you can take absolute control of this country. No,I can't just take over and have everybody against my will,I'm here to help everybody not take over, and plus i can't use an unstoppable amount of power,i'm still trying to learn my permanent power, said Alexis. Bruno eyed Alexis,hmm I see,so if I was to do something to the Kingdom hall, you wouldn't do anything,he asked. What, what are you talking about all I meant was that wouldn't use it for taking over, Alexis said. Are you sure about that,Bruno asked. Then he took out a sword from his pocket,even though that would be impossible to take a sword from your pocket.

He slashed Alexis,which made her fly across the yard. He started to walk towards the big building but before he could,Alexis had hit him by air punching,which means if you were to be punching someone far away, a big hand will appear to punch that target. Bruno had flown all the way into the window of the building. Everyone gasped when they had looked at Bruno. Alexis got up and ran to the room where everyone was. Everyone,you have to get out of here,this place isn't safe anymore! Everyone had ran out to leave except for Taylor,Eric and Aires. Amelia,John and Maria started to leave. Why can't we stay and fight,Amelia asked. Because you're both to young to fight and we don't want you to get hurt. As soon as they left Taylor Eric and Aires ran to Alexis. Alex,what's going on,Taylor asked.

Bruno is trying to destroy the Kingdom hall,Alexis said. But why,Aires asked. He must be one of Shiro's people,the way he was acting made it obvious. Just then,Bruno stepped into the conversation. Sorry to break up the chatting,but I have to break out of here. Bruno had slashed his sword towards them. Mainly at Aires. AARG,shouted. His leg was broken. Eric tried to do a melee attack with Bruno. But he was gone.
