"Can I move in with you?"
She asked promptly.
The last time she was here
I would have said 'if only'
But now that we were face to face
I couldn't believe it, solely
For the fact that she showed grace
And confidence.
Of which I lacked them all.
I feared I would say 'no'
For I couldn't even think of
Why she would want to stay in my home.
Perhaps she had missed me;
But probably not.
As the story was thought,
The story unfolds.
I wish I had told her to go.
But she then said "please".
And of all my doubts, I let go.
