Chapter 1: Friends

I open my eyes and quickly adjust to the light coming threw my bedroom window. Morning. I get up and stretch, grab my phone and I see that I have 3 missed calls and 2 messages. I dont want to respond yet, and I slowly push myself up off my bed. Why are you so tired? You went to bed early yesterday. I quickly go downstairs and grab something to eat. A apple might be good, So I grab that.
I grab my bag and head outside, when all of a sudden I see a boy with a hoddie and tanish shorts. I obviously stare, he stops at my bus stop. I go and slowly approach him, he doesn't move a inch.
"Hi, um.. My name is Mckayla." He glares at me out the corner of his eye. He has that type of hair that now a days guys like to have. It was silent for awhile but then he turns and holds out his hand.
"My name is Jacob.." What a cute name, he was cute. He was about my height and he had braces so that was a plus. I instantly smile and shake his hand, he smiles back.
"So you new here?" He gives me a confused look, obviously he wasn't around here he just moved here.
"Sorry stupid question.." He laughs a little and looks at me. And at that moment I instantly fell in love with Jacob. I smirk at him, instantly I got butterflys.
"So uh.. Do you wanna sit with me on the bus?" He asks nervously.
"Omg, yes!" Oops.
"Um.. I mean.. Sure." Good one.

I didn't see Jacob till period 3, which was stupid. When he saw me he jumped up and rushed over to me.
"Hey Mckayla." My body started to have tingles.
"Hey." I breathed out. He is so amazing, but he didn't know that. I want him to know that, I stare at him and watch his breathing. His lips moving, his eyes, his hands by his side. He finally noticed I was staring at him.
"Um.. You ok?"
"What..Yea. Wanna eat?" He smirks and nodds. We walk up to the line of kids also waiting for lunch. A few girls run over to him, and hug Jacob. He seems confused.
"OMG, ARE YOU JACOB." She yells in his face, he backs away a little. I know he's uncomfortable. What should I do? Nothing. I give them a dirty look.
"Whats your problem?" The other girl walks over to me, getting in my face too. Jacob sees im getting a little nervous. Everyone looks at us.

I could see Mckayla was getting nervous, but she stood tall and got into the girls face.
"Actually I do... Leave him alone.. Ok? Better leave." Damn. The girls eyes becoming smaller. Get into there, I try to move but the girl infront of me (Katy) flipped her hair and put her arm up against the wall to block me.
"She's fine. Now Your cute." She winks, now I blush. Mckayla looks at me, and looks away. I duck under her arm and get between mckayla and the girl.
"Leave her alone. Or deal with me." Everyone especially Mckayla was surpised. I didnt care mckayla was my friend and my only friend for now.
