(A/N: sorry I haven't updated in a while...I've been busy with school...and there might be a few typos in here cuz I'm using my iPod...well anyways LOVE YOU GUYS....bye)
Sams POV:
After the movie i decided to go play a few songs on my guitar in the bunk area so i didnt bother the boys. I started softly playing the chords then began to sing the song I wrote a few years ago after mom told me why dad left us. He didn care about us, he never had.
Four years old with my back to the door
All I could hear was the family war
Your selfish hands always expecting more
Am I your child or just a charity award?
You have a hollowed out heart
But it's heavy in your chest
I try so hard to fight it but it's hopeless
Hopeless, you're hopeless
Oh, father, please, father
I'd love to leave you alone
But I can't let you go
Oh, father, please, father
Put the bottle down
For the love of a daughter
Oh
It's been five years since we've spoken last
And you can't take back
What we never had
Oh, I can be manipulated
Only so many times,
Before even "I love you"
Starts to sound like a lie
You have a hollowed out heart
But it's heavy in your chest
I try so hard to fight it but it's hopeless
Hopeless, you're hopeless
Oh, father, please, father
I'd love to leave you alone
But I can't let you go
Oh, father, please, father
Put the bottle down
For the love of a daughter
Don't you remember I'm your baby girl?
How could you push me out of your world,
Lied to your flesh and your blood,
Put your hands on the ones that you swore you loved?
Don't you remember I'm your baby girl?
How could you throw me right out of your world?
So young when the pain had begun
Now forever afraid of being loved
Oh, father, please, father
I'd love to leave you alone
But I can't let you go
Oh, father, please, father
Oh, father, please, father
Put the bottle down
For the love of a daughter
For the love of a daughter
I didn't realize I was crying until I heard "Sam are you okay?" Luke asked worried.
"I'm fine" I said sniffling.
"Sam you aren't okay..please tell me whats wrong. I care to much to see you like this"
He whispered the last part like he didn't want me to hear it. But I did.
I said "My dad left us okay. One day when my mom took Calum and I out to go to the mall he just packed up and drove away. Didn't even leave a note. Mom told us he had been having a drinking problem, by she didn't think he would leave because of it. But he did. He chose aclohol over his own family."
He was quiet for a moment then said "I'm sorry. I know that doesn't change anything but im sorry."
"it's fine. I'm sorry you had to listen to me sing again. I know I'm terrible. Don't sugar coat it and say I'm good."
"uhh actually thats why I came in here. The boys and i were talking and we think you're AMAZING and we wanted to know If you wanted to open up at a few of our smaller shows because we don't want you to get overwhelmed with a huge crowd"
"really? That would be awesome!!!!" I said forgetting why I had tears on my face.
"okay pick a few songs of yours that you want to perform. Rehearsal starts tomorrow at noon once we get to the stadium area. And make sure you get enough sleep." he tells me.
"okay, thanks for comforting me Luke." I tell him.
"no problem I'll always be here for you. Just remember that-" he started to say something else and stopped them said "goodnight." then went to his bunk.
As soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep, dreaming of Luke.
Lukes POV: After Sam and I were done talking I headed to my bunk. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep dreaming of Sam.
