Most people might wonder why today is called good friday because its not good at all. Today was the day that Jesus was crucified and had the crown of thorns. Some people say that it is good because he opened the gates of heaven. Well back in his time, good meant holy. So there you go. Holy friday.
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
Take some time today to thank Jesus for what he did for us. For the rest of the week remain holy. This week is a good time to thank Jesus for what he went through to open the gates of heaven for you and me and all of us.
