Just then, the door flew open, and his mom rushed inside.
"Didn't you hear??" she asked.
"What?!"Rhett replied, panicking.

"WHAT?!?!?!?" Rhett yelled, growing worried and impatient.
She then turned on the News.
"A car crash happened earlier this afternoon, resulting in a deadly head-on collision with a tree. The driver was identified as 36-year-old Youtuber Charles Lincoln Neal lll, or "Link" from GMM." The Reporter announced.

Rhett turned off the TV. He just stood there, white as a ghost, in shock.
"I have to go." Rhett said.
"What?" his mom asked, puzzled.
"I HAVE TO GO!" he shouted.
"No! Not yet." she replied.
"YES!" he shouted. "You don't understand! That is my life-long friend, possibly DYING, mom! He kissed her good-bye, walked out, and drove away, leaving her in astonishment.
