Ash honestly didn’t know what to do. All he had wanted was to simply go to the bathroom, he came here every day during this period, naturally since he hated English, the only bearable part of the class was Mr. Eistie was the teacher. Other than that the whole class was just living Hell. He did not care for learning the true meaning of what Shakespeare wrote about in his plays. Maybe he just meant that some girl jumped into a relationship to fast with her boyfriend, Ash didn’t know, but listening to long, made up inferences about what the man may have meant didn’t sound any more accurate than his own explanation.

Wait, that wasn’t the problem here. What was the problem was a bleeding boy standing half naked in the bathroom. That was the problem.

Ash watched in an almost shocked, almost revolted state as the boy didn’t notice him as he began to clean up his bleeding arm. Ash didn’t understand how cuts like that happened, what had happened to the boy?

It suddenly dawned on Ash that he knew who this strange kid was. He was that brainiack from last period U.S. history. Unable to leave the popular boy continued to watch as the new kid skillfully fixed the bleeding arm in ways only some with years of practice could have, that made Ash a bit more suspicious of whatever was going on.

Just leave him. Ash almost jumped out of his skin as a voice mumbled in the back of his head, it was Josh. Ash almost laughed when he heard it, Josh was the voice inside his mind, he talked to Ash a lot, but it was never positive. The blond hadn’t heard from Josh in weeks. Which Ash hadn’t really minded all too much, Josh made it hard to act all good and perfect in front of people, always whispering snide remarks and negative observations that only Ash could hear.

What brings you here? Ash shot back at Josh taking his attention away from Mr. Brainiack for a second.

That kid is bad news, I think.

Bad news? Look how tiny he is, probably can’t even hurt a fly. Ash didn’t understand what Josh could see wrong with Mr. Brainiack. But what was even odder was Josh was trying to be helpful, that was even stranger, doubled with the sudden appearance of the thought to be departed voice Ash wondered if maybe he should listen to him.

Of Course you should Idiot! I can feel that he won’t bring anything but problems into your life!

Oh shut up, Josh. Ash rolled his eyes at the voice, he was so riled up today it was almost comical.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

End of sentence. That was almost bone chilling, like somehow Josh had wanted Ash to defy him that this would somehow end up a horrible end on Ash’s part.

He waited several more seconds, but with no more replies from Josh, wherever he had come from he must of went back too. There were officially no more signs of Josh, so instead he returned his attention back to Mr. Brainiack, who was in fact just finishing wrapping the peculiar cut on his arm.

Ash suddenly found himself in a stare down with his classmate. That boy looked at Ash with suspicion, never breaking eye contact as he repositioned his body; Ash found himself unable to see the large pile of what he assumed to be bloodied pile of paper towels.

Ash wasn’t sure what to say he watched as the boy’s look suddenly went from a state of panic to a cool glare. The boy was obviously not at all pleased to be walked in on in the middle of fixing up his cut arm. He pulled a sheepish grin to his face that was usual. He was Mr. Popular it was expected that he talk to everyone, and treat them all equally; it was one of his main selling points.
