Chapter 17

Marisa's p.o.v -

I sat there in the garage waiting as I began to call up Gerald.

He answered and didn't say a word until he grunted loudly and began cursing under his breath.

"Fuck there got off their car and are trying to enter the building!" he hissed clearly annoyed.

"Wait G it's perfect!" I exclaimed.

"What do you mean ?!?!!" He questioned.

"You let them in the building and let them go on a hunt for me and I'll get out of here once you let them in!!" I explained.

"Okay fine I'll let them in and you take off so start opening the garage! I just let them in" he stated and I sped off quickly making my way to the clinic.

"I love you so much Gerald" I smiled happily continuing to drive.

"I love you more Marisa now go check up on that lil one" he laughed and hung up.

- 10 minutes later -

I finally pulled into the parking lot looking for Steven's Car and I finally seen the black BMW.

I quickly parked in the spot next to it and waddled my way into the clinic to find Steven sitting in one of the chairs on his phone.

That was until I called his name getting his attention.

"Steven!" I called I watched him get up quickly and bobbling his phone trying to get it in his pocket.

"Hi I'm here for a check up!" I explained putting my phone into my pocket.

"What is the name??" the secretary questioned.

"Marisa Gonzalez Covarrubias" I stated  as Steven stood next to me shyly.

"Oh your the one who called in and said you were going to be late right ?" she asked.

"Yes" I responded.

"Okay well the doctor should be ready to see you so let me get a nurse to get you into a room " she smiled.

"Okay thank you so much " I said and 10 seconds later a nurse came out as we stood there a began to call my name.

"Marisa Covarrubias!?" she called and me and Steven walked to her.

"Hi that's us!" I stated reaching to where she was standing.

"Okay come along with me" she smiled as we began to walk through hallways as I struggled to keep my purse on my shoulder.

That was until Steven tapped me signaling to give it to him I finally gave up and passed him the purse ,
and he held on to it with his right hand.

"What do you got in here gosh! no wonder why you were struggling" he complained trying to get a laugh out of me.

"Oh shut up and I'm really not sure what I have in there to be honest with you" I responded rolling my eyes as we continued to follow behind the nurse.

We finally got into a room and she had me sit up on the bed as she started to take my blood pressure and my vitals.

Steven sat there smiling like a little kid kicking his feet up and down waiting for her to walk out of the room she then finished my vitals up.

"The doctor will be with you shortly" she s explained before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.

Me and Steven sat there for awhile not saying much to one another before I finally spoke up.
