The moment I first laid eyes on you... It was like looking at the Sun. You blazed with light and the Force, nearly blinding me in your splendor. For a moment, I felt calm for the first time in what seemed like eons... Just as I felt when I was with my Angel... My Padmé. Then came the anger. That, at least, was familiar. How dare you, a mere child, burn so brightly? Have such light, the will to live, when My Padmé was gone?
You were attached to Obi-Wan Kenobi. That, I could see rather clearly. He cared for you as well, though not much. You trusted him. That... I can never really understand. Even when I was that accursed fool Anakin Skywalker, I knew not to trust easily. You on the other hand... You trusted almost anyone who showed you kindness. Foolish boy. I would crush you. I would see you bleed. And for the first time in nearly twenty years... I could not wait for something so exciting.
