Angelina's had turned to the several figures coming towards her and Raul, and as they got closer she realized they were 5 figures. Raul set Angelina on her feet and turned to the figure angrily.
"What?" Raul asked them rudely, the figures approached them, but it was too dark for Angelina to see their faces.
"Is he hurting you?" One figure asked Angelina.
"No I am not." Raul defended himself, answering for Angelina. But Angelina found her voice quickly.
"Yes he is."
Raul looked at Angelina, he couldn't believe she said that, he wanted to make her pay now.
"Well, come one. You can come with us, we'll take you home." The figure said, Angelina nodded even though they couldn't see her nod, she stepped away from Raul and joined the unknown figures. The tallest figure found Angelina's arm and started to lead her away, the other four followed. They were heading back into town, Angelina didn't realize how close she was to town, she thought she was far away from it. She figured they were heading towards a car, but instead the tallest figure lead her down the sidewalk.
"Thank you for getting me away from him" Angelina said
"No problem, I figured you were in trouble." Said the tallest figure, who had a deep voice, a voice Angelina had never heard before, but sounded somewhat familiar.
"Yeah I was, I was lucky you five saw me, I probably would have a black eye by now." Angelina said, she kept looking forward and kept walking, even though she wanted to turn and see the people who saved her. Suddenly they stopped, and Angelina was finally able to turn around and see who they were. They all wore black sun glasses and black hoodies on, with their hoods up, they were all male. Angelina was curious why they were dressed like that, but decided not to ask.
"Where do you live?" Asked the figure standing next to the tallest, Angelina looked around, seeing nothing familiar.
"I don't think anywhere near here." Angelina said, she's only been in town a few times with her mom whenever her sister needed something, but besides that she's never been on her own.
"But, I live on a street called smith grove." Angelina told the , she turned back to the figures and saw them nod.
"We know where that is, we'll drive you. Make sure you get home safe, I don't know if that boy back there will come after you again." Said the tallest, he walked passed her.
"He will, he's probably mad at me now." Angelina said, the four figures walked behind her as she followed the guy in the front. They drove a mustang, even though there was only 4 seats, they all got in somehow. But Angelina had to sit in the tallest guys lap, which was completely awkward for her.she just met the guy no even an hour ago and she was in his lap, she shook her head side to side not knowing what made her decide to do that. Maybe she was loosing her mind. But then she thought, Raul was going to hit her and do whatever he wanted to, and these five guys basically saved her life. So maybe the thought of her being safe, and them taking her home, didn't sound like a bad idea, and getting into someone's lap just to get home. Wasn't so bad, right? Besides these guys didn't seem harmful to Angelina.
As the Mustang drove down smith grove street, passing big two story houses, Angelina told the driver where to go. The Mustang Pulled in front of a two story white house, all the lights were on, and Angelina knew everyone was still awake. The tall guy open the door and let Angelina get out first, then he got out. "thank you all for bringing me home." Angelina said. They all smiled. "No problem at all, I'm just glad we found you before you got hurt." Said the tall one, Angelina grinned.
"Thank you, um. What's your name?" Angelina said, he grinned softly and replied "Andrew, but you can call me Andy instead." Andy said, Angelina nodded. "Well, thank you Andy." Angelina said, then she turned around and started to walk to the porch steps.
"Bye, um." That's when Andy realized he didn't know her name.
"Angelina" Angelina told him, Andy waved bye when she opened the door and stepped inside. He watched her close the door, and that'd when Andy got back into the Mustang with his friends. As Andy sat in the back seat thinking, he realized that Angelina looked familiar, like he knew her. But he wasn't sure if he seen her before...
