The Scars That Never Heal

Screaming. Shouting.
Confusion. Horror.

Isn't it over?
Hasn't this happened already?

I've been here before.
I've heard this sound.

I'm young and naive,
But they're still screaming at eachother!

I thought it was over!
I thought it was done!

But it is over.
I'm not a child.

It's simply a memory.
It really is done.

But then why are they still screaming.
Why is it so loud.

There's a simple answer
To a simple question.

It's merely starting all over again.
