The Mysterious Guy

The day She meets him. Her first friend.

It has been a month since the receptionist called Cathie to tell her about her brother and Cathie has been devastated. She havent eaten as much as she should, she drinks water barely, and she barely ever plays Enternal Sonata anymore. She barely ever gets out of her bedroom.

Cathie got out of bed after her alarm rung out saying it was 5:00 am.

She rushes to her closet and grabs her black hoodie and threw it on her bed. She shuts her closet door and rushes to her drawer. She grabs a gray skinny shirt that has '5 Finger Death Punch' across the top. She shuts that drawer and open the one beside it and grabbed her skinny gray pants. She grabs her black combat boots and black socks.

She rushes to get ready for school so she can walk there. She gets dressed and runs down stairs slightly missing the picture of her brother. She runs to the fridge and grabs her lunch box that was of course gray. She quickly eats her breakfast and run back up stairs to grab her bag, make-up and to brush her teeth.

She walks out the door and locks it. She jogs down to the stop sign and kept jogging until she reached the school.

Cathie went to L.A. high school and she wasnt proud to be there. She rushes to her locker and grabs her beanie that she keeps in her locker. She slides it on and runs to the bathroom to put on her make-up.

She puts on a black smoky eye shadow, black eye-liner, thick layer of macarra, and a light pink lipgloss. She puts her piercings back on. She has a black nose ring on the right of her nose, a brow piercing on her left brow, and a ton of ear piercings.

She heard the warning bell ring for the students to know that it was time for class. She went back to her locker and pulled out her English binder, books, a note book for her to draw in, another note book for her to write in. She walks to her class receiving herself to be picked on.

Cathie ran to class and sat in the very back. She slammed her stuff on the desk and pulled her hood up and layed her head down on her arms. She barely ever talks in school or ever since her brother died.

After class, Cathie went to her locker. 'Ring Ring Ring' Cathie reached into her pocket to see if it was her phone. 'Unknown Number' she read to herself.
"Who is this?" Cathie said aloud to herself.
Cathie answers and walks outside to the courtyard.
"Hello?" Cathie said in a low and cold voice.
"Hello? Is this Catherine Love? Or should i call you Cathie?" A voice of a football member said. Cathie reconized the voice and hung up immediately.

Cathie then looked around her to see if anyone was there. Glad to see that no one was there but mad that her bullies now have her number. Cathie hung her head and cried, she felt she was being watched but thought nothing of it.

It was the end of the day. Cathie let out a sigh of relieve as she heard the last bell ring for dismissal. She ran out of the school into the parking lot and out of the parking lot. She ran to her house and unlocked it. She threw her bookbag on the couch and slammed the door shut. She leaned against the door and slid down to where her knees were at her chest. She buryed her head in her knees wrapped her arms around her knees. She sat there crying for 5 mintues, until there was a knock on the red door.

Cathie was confused because no one comes to visit her except Mrs. T. When Brian was alive people were always at the house because he was the quarterback of the football team.

Cathie lifted her head and dried her tears. She opened the door to see the same boy she saw at the park. She was able to get a better look at him. He has auburn colored hair, and hazel eyes. He has a black brow piercing, snake bites, and a flaming skull tattoo with a dragon wrapping around his arm up to the skull catching it on fire.

The stranger smiles and asks, "Hey I'm Adain Coleman. Are you Catherine Love and may i come in? I need to talk to you." he says. His smile fading.

Of course Cathie was Confused but also happy that she has a visitor. She didnt know what to do. Should she let this stranger in or should she be rude? Of course she wanted a friend.

"Yes Im Catherine But everyone calls my Cathie." Cathie said in a croaked voice since it has been a while since she talk to some one in person. Cathie held her hand out to shake the stranger's. The stranger takes Cathie's hand firmly and shakes it lightly smiling.
"Sorry if i scared you at the park." he said his smile fading once more.
"Its ok dont worry about it, you didnt scare me. Come in if you need to talk to me." Cathie said opening the door wide enough so the both of them can go inside.

They get inside and sit on the couch after Cathie removed her bookbag from the couch into her room. There was an awkward silence for the first 5 minutes.
"So, um does anyone else live with you?" Adain said out of the blue nervously.
"Um" Cathie gulped in fear that she start bawling her eyes out.
"So, I take that someone has but you dont want to talk about it. Huh?" Adain said knowing exactly what happen.
"So i take it that you heard about Brian Kane huh?" Cathie says looking down feeling the storm of tears arriving quicker than it should. She felt the seat beside her sink under ththe weight of someone or something. Cathie closed her pale blue eyes and hung her head loosely. She felt her head being lifted in the hands of someones.

She let the tears fall and she hugs Adain. She hugs him tighter every second. She felt strong arms wrap around her waist and hold her tight. Cathie smiles to herself. This is going to be a start of a beautiful friendship.

After Cathie was done crying she invited Adain to eat dinner with her.
"I would love to but I will have to let my room mate know, so please wait one minute." he said with a pleasant smile on him structured face.
"Ok Let me know if you can or can't" Cathie replied with a small smile.

After one minute Adain comes back with a smile.
"Guess what Cathie." Adain practically screamed.
"What?" Cathie replied with a smile.
"My room mate said that i could stay for dinner." he said with a smile.
"Awesome, so um what do you want to eat? I have a lot of food that I can cook. I dont usually eat.... At home." she lied.
"Oh so you eat out at restaurants?" he questioned.
"Um y-yeah." Cathie didnt want to worry her first friend.
They go in the kitchen to make food.
"How about we go out to eat instead?" Adain said with a smile.
"Sure." Cathie replied with the same smile.
"Ok so where do you like to go to eat?" Adain questioned lifting his left brow.
"Um, I'll let you decide since your my guest." Cathie said with a fake smile.
"Ok, I'll take you there." Adain said smiling.
