Mated To The Enemy

Chapter 2

Unknown POV

I decided to go for a quick run before it was time to attend Berkly's birthday party. I swear i did not want to attend this party at all. I mean after all she's been my crush for the longest , since like grammer school. I never told her this so i just resorted to teasing her and pretty much bullying her, anything i could do to get under her skin it was done. I made her feel as though i hated her. So you could see why i don't want to attend her party. She would be unhappy to see me, but my parents made me forcefully attend. She would be finding her mate so every un-mated male pack member of The Silver Moon Pack were to attend including neighboring male pack members.

This is the very reason i needed to run. Everyone in my house was talking about this party and i just couldn't take it anymore.

As i ran through the woods i could feel the presence of other wolves1 quickly came to a hault my body didn't give out any danger signals so i relaxed a bit i couldn't tell if was anyone from my pack cause my mindlink wasn't very good yet.

I heard as the other wolves had resulted to leaving. I continued to run but i slowed my pace then quickly came to a sudden hault there was still the presence of a wolf here i caught it's sent and my body went into a rage my wolf yelled mate constantly and i began to run wild my wolf had taken over my mind and i struggled to gain contril again. Once i did i found myself in a clearing in the middle of the woods. The scent that made my wolf go crazy was very strong now. I knew my mate had been here and although i wanted to run to her now i couldn't i had to get home and get ready for this stupid party. I had to choose Berkly's party over my own mate. The person i would spend the rest of my life with. The only thing thay gave me hope was that maybe she would attend this party.

Berkly's POV

After finally being back in the warmth of my home i was greeted once more by my family whom were still gloating and going on about me finding my mate later on to night. I had yet to tell them i had felt the pressence of my mate already.

I decided i would just not say anything and wait until tonight until i would be able to meet my mate face to face. I couldn't help but think if he felt my pressence as well.

I dismissed my self to my room. Once in the comfort of my room i ran straight to my bed and lye there in pure silence. I glanced at the clock on my night stand whick now read 3:00 (a/n i know time is going by fast but i want this part to be over with quickly ) i hadn't realized how much time had passed. My party would start early and go all the way to midnight allowing me more than enough time to find my mate and associate with guys who would drool at the thought of being my mate. I know i sound concieted but if you had my looks and body who wouldn't. I looked much like my mother with the exception of my fathers eyes and slightly protruding nose.

My party would start at four leaving me and hour to get ready. I had already had my nails done and toes done. And my bestfriend analise would be coming to do my hair and make up any minute now. She is a true hair and make up artist. Analise was beautiful just as i. She Had Blonde hair that stopped at her mid back. She was shorter than i was about 2 inches and her eyes were green. She had natural pale skin which of course she kept very well tanned.

I was interupted with a knock on the door more like a beat and imeddiately i knew it was Analise.

"Come in" i responded to her knock she had already had her party dress on when she stepped in. It was a red dress that was fitted to her upper body then flowed outwards from her hips. She head on red pumps and her blonde hair was nicely curled. Her make up had been done and she had a nice diamond necklece on that complmented her tan.

"You look amazing " i said looking at jer as though she was birthday girl.

"Thank you dear" she replied smiling and turning around so i could get a better look.

"You're welcome, i have to tell you about earl---" she cut me off

" You can tell me once you're all dressed you don't have much time so hurry"

"bu--" she cut me off again.

"But nothing, Berkly you seriously need to get dressed your party will be starting soon.

"Ok" i said in defeat and headed for the shower i took a quick shower and began getting dressed. Analise and I had the same dress and heels. With the exception of mine being blue. Once i was dressed i stepped out of the bathroom and headed into my bedroom.

"Omg you look toats gorgeous!" My bestfriend exclaimed "Come on we need to get your hair and make up done"

My hair was done into a perfectly round bun with curled tundrals coming down both side. I placed my diamond braclets on. And Analise helped with my necklace. Then started on my make up. She did it lightly preserving the natural feel and look.

" You are a total life saver and i swear if i wasn't all dolled up i.would cry i love you so much Analise" I said with a thoughtfuk tone.

"That's what bestfriends are for remember, you helped me when i turned 16" she said.

It was true i had helped her 3 months ago when she turned 16 and found her mate. Now her and Garrett are the cuteset couple i have ever seen and they are totally in love. I just hope i look and feel the same way she felt when her and Garrett first laid eyes on eachother.

"Honey you have guest arriving please come down and greet them accordingly" my mom said interupting my thoughts.

"Ok mom i'll be down in just a minute" Me and Analise gathered our things and exited my room.
