Ashton left and I watched TV for another hour until I finally got up, showered, and got ready. I tried to look at least okay cuz it was my best friends first gig. I knew he was too and he'd probably be pretty good but I was still kinda nervous for him . He showed up in his moms car and waved at me to get in. I could see the drum kit in the back. "Having trouble fitting it all?"I giggles and he pushed one of the cymbals away from him. "Eh just a little bit." I giggled and turned on the radio. We drove and sang at the same time. Ashton had just turned 17 and so had I . I could hardly wait.
We got to the place and Ashton and I unpacked the back. "Ashton why are your cymbals not in the case?" I raised my eyebrow. "Well you see... Me and Henry were messing around and they got a little...erm...busted." I rolled my eyes "loser" he stuck his tounge out at me. We pulled his stuff in and he talked to the other boys in the band before going and setting up. One of them, the shorter blond one, came up to me and offered his hand. He had light green eyes and a killer smile. I took his hand and shook it. "Im Luke, I'm the singer and I play a bit of guitar!" i smiled "im lauren" The other one, with a kiwi look about him and a cute face smiled and waved and then went back to strumming and tuning his guitar "that's Calum, he's the other guitarist and sings abit too and then hopefully Michael will be here in a bit. He's always late." Luke let out a little chuckle and shook his head. "By the way, Michael and Calum are about to turn 17and I've only just turned 16" he rubbed the back of his head like he was embarrassed. "Well you don't act that young. Or look like it." I said, hopefully cheering him up. Just then a blond kid, his hair not as light as Luke's, came bursting through the doors. "Sorry I'm late guys!" He yelled and almost dropped the amp and guitar case he was holding. "Tonight is gonna be fun" I thought as I imtroduced myself to Michael.
