"DAD DAD DAD!" I yell. "LOOK AT WHAT CAME IN THE POST!!!" I run into the kitchen, where my dad has just finished breakfast. "One sec sweetie I'm kinda busy...." He says. "But dad I got my Hogwarts letter!!!!" My dad suddenly stop what he is doing and just looks at me. Two seconds later I'm in the air and he's twirling me around telling me how proud he is. "Ok ok ok Dad I get it your excited too but we should eat before breakfast gets cold." I say. "Sorry sweetie I get a little TOO excited sometimes." We eat breakfast in silence, then my dad says "We should probably head off to Diagon Alley then to get your things. Maybe Mom can take you while I go to work." Just then my mom comes up the stairs from the basement yelling "PETER!!! YOU FORGOT TO CLEAN!!!!" "Sorry honey! I seem to have lost track of my wand again....." Dad replies. "Again Peter!? Accio wand!" Mom exclaims. My Mom catches the wand and throws if back to Dad. "There we go." He says "Oh look at the time. I have to head off to work. See ya soon sweetie!" "Bye Dad!" I say as he heads out the door. "Mom Mom Mom! I got my Hogwarts letter in the post today! We need to go to Diagon Alley!!!!!" I say excitedly. "Oh great dear! I always knew my daughter would go to Hogwarts! We will have to go tomorrow though. When your brother gets back in town he can take you while I go shopping." Mom says. "But I don't wanna be alone with him! He's such a prat sometimes!" I exclaim. "Now now dear c'mon he is your brother. And besides it's only for a few hours. Now, I have to clean up. You head off to your room and do whatever you want. Although I would suggest planning out what to bring to Hogwarts with you. School starts soon!" Mom says. I head off to my room and start to pack. By the time I'm done, Dad is home and we eat dinner. Then I head to bed, eager for the morning.
