Chapter 3

"Trust me babe, my dick is far from little." He leaned in close brushing his lips against my ear. "You'll see it soon enough."

I stared at him shocked by his response. His blue eyes seemed to glow at he stared intensely at me. He stepped forward, wrapping his arms around my waist, inhaling my sent like he did before. The smell of his cologne was enough to send me over board.

"God, I want to make you mine right now. I want myself so deep inside of you." He whispered. "But you're not ready. Not now."

I moaned as he started sucking between my shoulder, slickly grazing his teeth against my skin. I could feel myself growing wet. I wrap my arm around his shoulders while running my hand through his soft luscious hair. My grip tightens as he began to kiss my throat.

I moan even louder as he pressed his hard on against my burning core. He began to grind his lower half against mine as he wrapped in of his hand around my neck.

We were in public.

I push myself off him, quickly regaining my composure. I look away scared to look into his dark lustful eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"I-I have to go."

I walk past him and make my way back inside the building pushing through the crowd searching for Tyler. What was I thinking making out with a man I barely knew?

"Bitch tell me you at least got some dick action."

I sigh in relief as Tyler wraps his arm around me, "I want to go home now. I think I've had enough fun for today."

"Mufucker they ain't even cut the cake yet, and bitch that shit look good. Catch a damn uber cause my ass staying right here." He laughs mumbling under his breath. "The fuck she thought I was? A damn taxi driver."

I roll my eyes at how extra he was being,"Tyler I'm serious. I don't wanna see him right now."

"That nigga got yo shit wet as fuck didn't he!" He barked as he doubled over laughing, cause a few people to look at us weirdly. "Girl I knew you was a lowkey freak. Man it always be the good girls. Relax y'all just met. What he finna do? Fuck you in front of everybody 🙄?"

I blushed at his comment. Let's hope this day goes by fast.

Colton POV

Hurt.

That's how I was feeling at this moment . When she walked away it was as if he rejected me as her mate. Maybe I had came on a little too direct for her. Man but the way she tasted had me wanting more of her. Her scent alone could get me hard.

You should've marked her when you had the chance. You should've covered her with our scent! My wolf snarled.

I could feel his anger pulsing through my body. Feeling irritated by his commands, I blocked him out, taking a gulp from the wine bottle in my hand.

I watched as she stood awkwardly behind Tyler, her eyes darting at every corner of the room. I had made her nervous.

I slammed the bottle down on the table mad at the thought. She was my mate for fucks sakes. Even if she was human she should be able to feel the pull between me and her.

"Getting drunk at your own sister's wedding. How would she feel about that?"

"Now is not the time."

Ignoring me, John, my beta, took a seat next to me with a knowing smile. I wanted nothing more but to punch his face.

"Trouble in paradise aye?"

He snatches the bottle from my hand taking a long sip.

"I want to mark her now and take her home tonight." I state.

"Boy you bout dumb as hell. That's too sudden; give her time. You're just going to scare her if you go and do that dumb shit."

I let out a exasperated sigh, "I don't know how long I can wait, especially since we started off on the wrong foot today."

"Get to know her first." He chuckles.

I frown at how stupid he was being. "What is there to know? She is my mate and she belongs to me. She is chosen to satisfy all my needs, simple. She is meant to rule by my side."

"You really have a way with words. Such a romantic fella."

I snatch my bottle back sending him a threatening growl before returning my attention back to her.

Was she really worth the wait?
