A Snermionie Fanfic

All seems well

I'm so sorry it has taken so long to update!! I was working on another fanfiction and i completely procrastinated on uploading this one... Don't be too mad at me!! I love you lovelies!!

Hermionie had been overjoyed the next day. She didn't remember much of what happened, but she knew that her and Severus had kissed, and that it had been wonderful. She had also remembered Severus healing her, then carrying her to the common room, where he left her with some other Gryiffindor girls her age who brought her to her four-poster bed. Hermionie remembered Severus's soft and warm hands, scooping her up like she was light as a feather. Hermionie was actually excited for her detention that night. Hermionie got dressed and tried to brush her frizzy, curly hair, but she just decided that it was too much work and put it up in a tight bun. She headed down to the great hall and when she entered she was greeted by a warm and buzzing atmosphere, but she noticed Severus's spot was empty. She sat down at the Gryiffindor table and was greeted by Luna and Ginny. "Luna, when are you going to sit at your own table??" Hermionie asked as she grabbed a piece of toast and some jam. "The students there are quite mean. I much rather sit here" Luna replied in her usual airy tone. "Why are you so happy today Hermionie? Had the nargels replaced your stolen items??" Luna asked with a slightly tilted head. "Oh, yes, I had found the quills I was missing. But that's not why i'm happy" Hermionie answered quickly. "What is the reason then??" Ginny asked "Well...." Hermionie questioned telling Luna and Ginny. She decided it was best to tell someone, and her two bestfriends were the best to tell."You guys can't tell anyone this okay?" Luna nodded but Ginny looked offended. "You should know me well enough to know I won't tell anyone Hermionie!" "I know, I know, i'm just nervous is all" Ginny relaxed and Hermionie began to tell her story from the beginning and paused to laugh at the surprised but happy faces of her friends,  but just as she finished, the mail came in. A small dark owl came and sat next to Hermionies toast and held it leg out. She gently removed it and gave the owl some toast and it hooted and flew back to the owlery. Ginny leaned in and said "Ooh is that from lover boy himself??" Hermionie and Luna laughed. "I think so. It's his handwriting and it says Miss Granger" Ginny oohed as Hermione opened the letter. It was short, but it confused Hermionie. "What is it about??" Luna asked. "It is from Snape, but it is cancelling all my detentions for the week...." She passed Ginny the note from across the table and looked at it with Luna on her right peering over. Ginny shrugged her shoulders but Luna said "Maybe he doesn't want to see you cause he doesn't want to get you in trouble??" In her airy tone. This didn't make Hermionie feel any better. Ginny suddenly opened her eyes wide and said "Oh Merlin!! His essay!!! Come on Hermionie!! We have to turn them in before breakfast is over!!" Hermionie suddenly realized she didn't write hers. Ginny must have seen the worry because she quickly said, "Don't worry, I saw the girls bring you in last night and I assumed you didn't get the chance to write yours, so I wrote an extra" Hermionie sighed. "I will write your Transfiguration essay for you!! And thank you so much!!" Ginny grabbed the two stacks out of her bag and handed one to Hermionie. It looked just like one she would've written. The handwriting was perfect, and so was the information. Hermionie felt immense gratitude towards Ginny as they raced down to the dungeons. They stopped to catch their breath before they entered the dark classroom. When they opened the door they saw a line of students placing their essays on the teachers desk. Snape was sitting and grading papers with him infamous red ink and black quill. When everyone had placed their essays on his desk and left, Hermionie whispered for Ginny to go without her, and they would meet up down the hall in a moment. After the door had closed, silence had fell upon the room. After a few moments of standing awkwardly, Hermione walked to the front of the teachers desk. She was about to speak when the cold voice of Professor Snape beat her to it. "As you can see Miss Granger,  I am busy, so please make this quick" Hermionie was a little shocked, but only for a moment. "What happened to calling me Hermionie??" She asked innocently. "Is that all you needed, Hermionie??" He said her name as if it was some hurtful slur. "I wanted to ask why our detentions were cancelled, Severus" She repeated his tone back to him.  "I am busy this week, but if you really want detention then I will talk to Mr. Filtch, now, if that is all then please exit my classroom" He said without looking up once. Hermionie tightened her grip on her school bag as she turned to leave. "Git" she whispered under her breath as she was halfway out the door. "What was that Miss Granger?" Snape called after her finally looking up at her, but she slammed the door in response. Hermionie was halfway down the hall towards Ginny before Snape opened the door and began after her. Ginny saw him striding towards her and started to run down the hall. She got there just as he grabbed Hermionies arm. "What.....Did you say.....You insufferable.....Child" Snape demanded from Hermionie slowly but in a harsh tone. Ginny got in-between the two and he recoiled back. "I said you were acting like a git!!" Hermionie answered. "Speak with me after class Miss Granger....  And 40 points from Gyffindor to you Miss Weasly for not being in class. Now go before I take more!!" Ginny and Hermionie walked away quickly and decided to skip double Transfiguration, and stay in the library until double Potions. Once Hermionie and Ginny found a seat Ginny asked "Are you okay?? Snape was acting like a huge git! I would have punched him in the throat and hex him till tomorrow if I wouldn't get expelled" The girls laughed and Hermionie said "Yeah i'm fine. I was prepared for him to be like this, but I will figure it out. It will be fine" Ginny looked relieved. They spent the next two hours working on homework and joking quietly. When it was time for double potions, they packed up their things and made their way to the dark dungeons.
