A New Painting

Hermionie and Ginny quietly walked to Professor Mcgonagall's office. She still used her private teachers headquarters although she was a headmistress. She never told anyone why, but everyone knew Dumbledore was like her bestfriend, and she respected him greatly. It amazes Hermionie how she can teach and run the school at the same time.
As they arrived at the office, Ginny stopped Hermionie. Hermionie was so busy thinking about what's going to happen, she forgot that Ginny was standing beside her.
"It will be okay Hermionie. Mcgonagall is usually leanent. Nothing will happen"
Ginny sounded sincere, but her face had fear in it. Hermionie nodded. She wanted to speak, but she couldn't. Her voice was gone, her hands started to get clammy. She had only seen Professor Mcgonagall in class, and she always payed attention in her class. She hates getting in trouble with Professor Mcgonagall. That's the only part she didn't miss when she thought of the times with Harry and Ron. Hermionie knocked on the door softly. She heard a familiar airy voice ehco from the office. "Come in." Hermione walked into the room and closed the door. She turned fromt he door to see Professor Mcgonagall chatting with her back to Hermionie. She heard laughter. Not a loud echoing laugh, but a soft chuckle. Hermionie coughed softly, and Mcgonagall turned to her, and Hermionie saw who she was talking to.
"Dumbledore?? I thought they would hang your portarait in your office?? When did they hang you?" Hermionie asked all at once. She was so happy to see him again, even if it was just a painting. She had always loved Dumbledore, he was always happy and funny. A giant goofball.
"Hello Miss Granger" Dumbledore replyed. "I was hung in my office, but I like to wander. And I was hung last week" Hermionie was shocked. She should have known Dumbledore was here. "Ah Miss Granger. You must be wondering why you are here. Unless you know." Dumbledore said, and winked at her.
Hermione was wondering how he knew. How Mcgonagall found out. The empty portrait. In his class room. They must have hung extras in the classrooms so Dumbledore could wander around the castle. Hernione thought. She started to blush. But Professor Mcgonagall looked disgusted.
"Miss Granger! How could you have relations with a professor!" Mcgonagall demanded from her in a stern voice.
"Now now, Mirvana. Young love knows no bounds. I find it quite cute." Dumbledore replied. He winked at Hermionie again.
"But Albus! He is not young! Neither is Miss Granger!" Professor Mcgonagall replied. As she finished speaking, her lips formed a tight line.
"Well, they are a lot younger than us Mirvana" Dumbledore laughed and Professor Mcgonagall had a small smile. Hermionie felt a rush of gratitude towards Dumbledore. Then as Professor Mcgonagall started to talk quitely to Dumbledore, Hermionie heard a cold voice from the back of the classroom. Hermione whipped her head around to look at him. 
"Headmistress? You asked for me?" Snape asked. He's so handsome. I love his long hair, how it feels. I love how tall and slender he is. He wasn't even doing anything but standing, and yet, he's adorable. Hermionie thought. "Ah, yes Severus. How have you been?" Snape froze when he saw Dumbledore. Hermionie saw a tear in Severus's eye. Hermione wondered what he was thinking. The last time Severus had seen Dumbledore was when he killed him. I'm the top of the astonomy tower.
"Hello Albus" he replied. "Don't worry Severus. I still see you as a dear friend" Dumbledore said calmly. Professor Mcgonagall cleared her throat and looked at them both. "Considering Miss Granger is overage, I shall allow this relationship. But you two shall not.... " She paued to sigh. "Have innaproprate relations while she is still attending school" Mcgonagall said. "And Albus will look in periodically to see that you two are behaving." She finished. Hermionie blushed, but she felt so happy, she almost jumped. Severus must have moved forward while she was speaking, because she turned and saw him at her side. She grabbed his hand and he jumped, but didn't move away.  Professor Mcgonagall noticed, and said "not in my office you two!!" And Hermione squeezed his hand, and sadly let go.
"Absolutely in your office Mirvana!! They are adorable together." Dumbledore quickly replied. "Absolutely not Albus. No, no no." She closed her eyes and shook her head. When she opened them she said "You two are dismissed" Hermionie turned and heard the convorsation behind her as she left.
"I will see them in his office then!" "Oh no you won't Albus! Leave them be!"
"I will return shortly Mirvana." "Albus Dumbledore!! You get back in this portrait right now!!" But as Hermionie turned to let Severus pass through the door, she had seen Dumbledore had already left. Severus passed by her, and she shut the door. As soon as the door closed Ginny had hugged Hermione. "Hermionie!! This is so great!! She let you off!!" "Woah. Do you listen to everything behind closed doors?" Hermionie asked surprised by the hug attack.  "No, Snape shooed me away!!" She glanced an evil look at the patiently waiting man. "Professor Snape to you, you little red-headed brat." Severus replied. Ginny shook her head knowing that she was about to kill him, but Hermionie saw her fists clenched tightly. "Then how did you know that she let us off?" Hermionie quickly changed the subject. Ginny held up a pair of extendable ears. Snape shot her a sneer behind her back, and Hermionie laughed. "Well, I gotta meet up with Luna in the Library. See you soon Hermionie!!" Ginny waved goodbye and left. Severus and Hermione walked back to the dungouns to celebrate in peace together.
