Jenny knew she was gonna get lots of phone calls tomorrow. But she wasn't expecting Vanessa to one of the people to call her.
" hey! Vanessa. I -"
" Look Jenny its was wrong of me to walk out like that and I'm sorry"
" no no it okay I totally get it! I should've told you"
" It was just that it took me by surprise"
" I know, and I should've told you before but—"
"Everything happened so fast" Vanessa's voice had slight angst undertone to it.
"Yes! Look I would love to meet up up and clear the air soon, how bout tomorrow? We could have breakfast!"
" uhh sure. Why not."
"Great then I'll see you soon!"
Jenny hardly got time to comprehend what just happened between her and Vanessa when Angus came busting into her room.
"Come one Jenny, I got a meeting with a hotshot backer annnnnnd were almost late!"
"What! Ok! Let me just change!"
"No timeo Hun! Gotta go!" And with that Angus dragged Jenny out of her house. Her dad had just gone down to buy groceries so it was the perfect time to sneak out.
