Over their first few lessons, it was quite obvious the two Malfoy children were extremely talented. Professor McGonagall was impressed with their transfiguration and immediately gave them harder work. In the Dark Arts, they practised on other first years while Amycus Carrow sat in the corner either laughing or drinking rum. At dinner, Cienna got an owl from her mother. Dearest Cienna and Scorpius, how are your studies? Extremely pleased to know that you were sorted in Slytherin, (mind you, what other house would match you and your brother) Hope you are well and we'll see you at Christmas! Love always, Mum xxx. Cienna couldn't help but sniffle a tear. Her brother noticed and immediately raced over to her. "Sis, what's wrong? If it's too personal, we'll go out into the corridor?" asked Scorpius. Cienna raced out into the Entrance Hall, her brother running after her. "Mum misses us, her heart is broken without us!" wailed Cienna. "We'll just go up to the headmaster's office, Professor Snape says he'll do anything for us" said Scorpius. The two navigated their way to the headmaster's office and after entering the password, they saw Umbridge walking out of the brass doors. "Ms Umbridge, how nice to see you!" said Scorpius. "Ah, Scorpius, Cienna, nice to see you as well. I was just seeing Snape on ministry business. How's Hogwarts treating you?" said Umbridge. "Cienna's a bit homesick, but we'll manage" said Scorpius. "Oh, I feel sorry dearie. Christmas is not too far away. Besides, your invited to my office at the Ministry for a cup of tea anytime"'said Umbridge with a smile. The toad like lady in her pink furry coat strutted off away to some other bit of the castle. They entered Headmaster Snape's office. Despite having a passion for the Dark Arts, Snape still loved potions and had an area of his office devoted to the art of potion making that included cauldrons, ingredients and books. "Scorpius, Cienna, what may I do for you?" asked Snape. "She's a bit homesick, sir. Our mother's owl really touched her" said Scorpius. "Hmm, I'm sure we can arrange for her to come here" said Snape with a smile. In 10 minutes, Hermione, Draco, Druella, Rodolphus and Bellatrix strode out of the fireplace. "Oh, my two little sweeties missed their mummy" cooed Hermione as she hugged and kissed her two kids. "Mum, we're not two years old!" mumbled Scorpius as his face was squished in his mother's torso. "Druella, nice to see you darling!" shouted the portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black. Druella's face cringed as she hid herself behind Snape's desk. "RODO! DON't PUT YOUR CHEWING GUM UNDER SNAPES DESK, YOU IDIOT!!" shrieked Bellatrix. Rodolphus sighed as he placed a silencing charm on his wife enraging her. After a hour, Hermione finally left her children, still feeling a little sad with herself. "Don't worry, my love. They'll be home soon" said Draco. "I know, babe" said Hermione as she twisted and turned in bed.
