The neighborhood I grew up in was everything but quiet. When I was ten a new neighbor moved in. He quickly came to be apart of the group. It never hit me then, but looking back now I realize how much that boy truly meant to me. He became my best friend. Everyday we were spending the day together. We tried a dating thing when we were younger but that lasted like two days. We were forced into it and that's where it started be weird. We slowly grew apart. By the time we were in middle school we were barely talking every week let alone everyday. That's when I noticed that I needed him around. Summer's were the easiest of times. Neither of us had to impress our friends with who we talked to. It was just back to normal. Back to us. We had the best of times that year he went to high school. He came over every morning and we laid around watching tv, eating, or running around the neighborhood. I will never forget the day we watching it rain for hours then went out side to play in the mud. We tore up the yard that day. He made one mud hole and I made the other, its weird how we never had a care in the world.
