"then how come you have different surnames? you have different father?"I asked

"Nope,we have the same father but different mother..the thing is , our dad chose to be with his mother,that left my mom heart broken but after years of my convincing ,my mom agreed to date again..and I think that's the best thing that ever happened after dad's decision to leave us..'cause my mom married a real gentleman and who loves me unconditionally like his own child..that's where I got my surname..I think he's like a father to me than my own dad." she told me

"Im happy that youre happy :) ..but what happened to Jake? how did he become like this?"I asked

"Good question" she stated "Her mother died because of cancer,since he's a mama's boy ,he took it badly..Dad has tried many times to confront him..but all he does is push him away..." she continued

"Have you been close before? as in ,do you have a brother-sister relationship before?"

"Yup!..when we were just kids..we're always together,playing together and doing everything together..but that changed when his mom died..He pushed me away just like what he did to our dad..he says mean things to me and punch me if I try to talk to him again...until that day before grade 7 start..he called me.. and me being me, felt happy ..thinking that he's going to say sorry to me and be back to old times when his mother is still alive.. did that happen? No..he called me because he warned me not to tell a single soul about this..he said that would be a shame for him..I did not answer 'cause I know Ill just cry while talking to him..and I dont want that to happen 'cause he'll think Im weak..he took my silence as a yes...he never look my way since that day...he doesnt even acknowledge my presence .. it hurts :( "

Alex is now sobbing when we came to our classroom.. thankfully our teacher's late.. I said some comforting things to her..and thank God it worked...
