Chapter 3|New Home

I heard loud noises and I saw Nicole (the really kind nurse) standing next to me.
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to wake you." She said smiling at me.
"It's okay." I said smiling back.
"I know it was a shock to you last night, but if it's okay with you the orphanage poeple want you to move in today." She said, carefully taking a sample of my blood.
"Oh. Well Urm okay I guess I'll have to move in today. I'd rather be in a home,then being on the streets." I said looking down at my hands.

Nicole dropped my off, after I got everything I needed from home.
"Hi your must be Miss Mackenzie Ziegler." The lady said at the registration corner.
"Yes I am" I said grumpy.
"Okay well,here's your key for your door I can show you where it is if you want?" He said too happy.
"No its fine."I said as I snatched my bags from her wrinkly hands.
"Well, it's been a pleasure meeting you kenzie. I hope your life will carry on the way you want it to. Remember if your not happy,then make yourself happy. You have a choice. Bye kenz." Nicole said waving as she walked towards to door.
I walked down the hallway and, went into the lift. 3rd floor. I walked halfway down the hallway and I found my room. As,I opened the door the room was empty. Nobody was in there. I said hello but I got not answer. The walls were nicely decorated. It was black with red roses. There were 3 desks,with computers. There was one bunk bed and one normal one. I started to unpack, until I heard loud laughing coming closer and closer. I turned around.
"Oh Urm who are you?" This girl said rudely.
She had long brown hair with red highlights. She was wearing a pink short sleeved top and red shorts. She was wearing flip-flops. Ew who likes them? Standing next to her, stood a smaller girl and she had brown hair as well, but instead her hair was braided into a French plait. She had a black tank top and was wearing black leggins.
"Hi! I'm Frances!" Frances said running towards me.
"Urm hi." I said whilst i was still unpacking.
"This is Jasmine." She said as she helped me.
"Okay. Urm hi Jasmine." I said looking away.
"You get that bed!" She said pointing to it.
"Urm okay."
"Me and Frances have to go to the pond!" Grabbing Frances top, she said sternly.
"No we don't." She said happily.
"Yes we have to go right now!" She demanded.
I was glad they left. I didn't want to be here anyway. Why did Maddie and mom die and not me? I asked myself as I threw a glass cup on the floor. I left the room angrily and went to the pond, where everyone was going.
