dear alphabet boy,

as soon as I heard the words 'oral presentation' come out of our English teacher's mouth, I started feeling sick. every student went to the front of the class to talk about a theme given by our teacher.

when it came to my turn, I walked slowly to the front of the class and everyone got quiet waiting for me to talk. everyone was staring at me and I started feeling dizzy. I forgot what my topic was about. I forgot everything.

I forgot how to breathe and I ran out of the classroom trying to reach the restroom as fast as possible. I could hear the laughs at the end of the hallway but I couldn't care less. I was so scared. you came running after me and you hugged me tightly, you let me cry on your shoulder and you calmed me down. I felt safe in your arms. you're my hero.

love you,

cry baby
