Chapter 4

I can't believe am getting married tomorrow , looking at the infinity silver-like ring I can't believe it, I don't care that it's not real silver as long as I spend the rest of my life with the love of my life

Its been a month since Mike proposed and I have been living at the Prestige mansion since my godmother wanted to take care of everything everyone is happy for me but I didn't see Alex since I moved in here I think he went back to New York though I wish he was here

My dress is floor touching long white dress, a heart shaped neckline its tight from my chest to my waist then flows from my waist downwards, my veil just reaches my waist ....its perfect for me

"Baby I have to go I will be back before the sundown for my bachelor party I promise " Mike said to me, he has some busines to take care with my father out of town it's just two hours drive but I just have this feeling in my chest that makes me stop him from going I don't know what this feeling is but I don't like it at all

" I know hun but I have this weird feeling please don't go and stay here with me until your bachelor party starts please hun" I begged

" nothing is going to happen to me it might be your just nervous for the wedding, but after tomorrow you will be mine and  will be yours forever I promise I will never leave you"

"Your right it must be the wedding but please take care I will be waiting for your call tonight, I love you" I kissed him, it felt like it's my last time kissing him the kiss felt like our last goodbye and I didn't like that at all

"I love you too sweetheart forever and always " he kissed me one last time before he left

God! This feeling is killing me please protect Mike and bring him back to me

"You look so sad darling what's wrong?"mama asked me

"I have a strange feeling in my chest that tells me to stop Mike from leaving and I don't like it" I told her

" nothing is gonna happen hun your just nervous about the wedding but don't worry everything will be fine and Mike will come back to you safe and sound I promise, just drink this tea it will calm your nerves then take some rest okay " she said

"Your right  mama thanks "

Michael POV

Its almost sundown and we are heading back home I can't  wait for tomorrow kat will finally be my wife

" you look nervous son,are you having cold feet" Kat's dad joked

"Am not having cold feet am just so happy I can't believe it "

"I know you will make my daughter happy don't worry you guys are a match made in haven "

We drove in a comfortable silence for a while, until we spotted a man lying on the grass beside the road and he looked sick

"Mr.Boston is that a man lying there" I said while pointing to the guy across the road

"These roads are dangerous my boy you can't trust anyone let's just drive "

"No! We have to help him please"

"Okay don't say I didn't warn you"

I stopped the car and we all got out to see the guy lying on the grass

" hey man are you owkey" I asked him while shaking him slowly he didn't look dead just tired perhaps he was sleeping

"Please help me get to a nearby hospital I don't feel well"he said in low voice
"Its owkey we will help you, here take my jacket you look  cold"I said taking off my jacket to put it on him then we took him to the car

We were still in the other town just after 20 minutes we will enter our town

The car suddenly stopped and smoke was coming out at the front of the car

"Damn!" I cursed
"Whats wrong son"asked Mr.Boston

"I think the engine is over heated and we need to cool it down with water,but I don't have water in my car"

"There is a river across the road down that small hill" john said pointing to a small hill across the road ,john is the name of the stranger we helped he is from this town and he is the same age as me same height almost the same body but am more muscular than him

"Owkey then I will go get the water you guys stay here "I said getting out of the car

After walking for a while I found the river took some water and left but as I was walking back I heard an explosion

I started running up the small hill towards the road unfortunately I didn't see a tree infornt of me causing it to hit me on my fore head I lost my balance
So I fell down and rolled down the hill

I tried holding on to something but I was rolling so fast It was impossible
Down the hill I hit my head on a rock
The hit was pretty hard that I started seeing blackspots clouding my eyes
I knew I was losing consciousness and I could smell my own blood

I was struggling to stay awake but it was impossible

I couldn't even move or shout for help
I couldn't feel my body at all

I kept on thinking about Katrina and her beautiful face

Before closing my eyes I whispered her name

"Katrina..."
