A/N
I don't specify if you're a girl or boy. So for this one, yall choose :)

Walking into the doors of the place I've settled in for, for four years one last time for the first day of school, felt like a heavy rock has been lifted off my back and I can finally be free of the stress from that rock.

I strut down the hall with a smile on my face. Everyone I pass greets me and I wave to all of them. Being the popular person in school gives me a perfect entry to spreading positivity. Everyone looks up to the popular kid and always want to be friends with them and or be them, so what better way to spread good vibes.

I make my way to the Gym to pick up my schedule and make my way to my locker. Reading my schedule while walking, I bump into someone. I look up immediately and apologize to the person. I extend my hand to the girl on the floor and help her up. "I am so sorry! I wasn't looking. Are you okay? I didn't push you down to the point I injured you, right? Again I'm so sor-" The girl squeezes my hand and looks up at me. "It's okay. You don't need to keep apologizing. I'm alright." She smiled and let go of my hand.

I look at her and take in her beautiful features. I continue to look at her until she cuts me out of my trance. "Is there something on my face?" She asks. I shake my head at her thought of me thinking I was looking at something stuck on her face. "Um, my name is.. um... Y/n." I finally get out. She giggles at me and my heart beats faster at the sound of her cute laugh.

"I'm Ally. It's nice to meet you." She greets, going straight for a hug. I hug her back and pick her up a little since she is way shorter than me. I put her down and look back at her. "Are you new here? I've never seen you around before. I would remember a beautiful girl like you." I compliment. She blushes and looks down at the floor. I lift her chin up so she can look at me and I smile.

"Um, yeah I'm new here." Ally answers. "Cool. Let me see your schedule, I can show you around." I tell her. She hands me her schedule and I look through it. I smile when I see that we have a few classes together. I look back at her and give her a smile. She smiles back and takes her schedule back. "So I saw that we have Criminalistics, Photography 1 and also Economics together."

The bell rings, signaling that it's time to get to class before the actual tardy bell signals. "So Criminalistics first," Ally says looking up at me. I nod and we make our way to the science buildings.

We get their pretty quickly, as we were not that far from the building. I open the door for her and she thanks me while walking into class. I walk in behind her and point to the open lab station in the back for her and me to sit at. She makes her way to the back and I follow behind her. I was just about to get to the front of the lab station until I was pulled by my arm and into an empty desk in the back. I look to see my ex-girlfriend Ariana smiling widely at me. I smile back because I didn't want to be rude. "Um, Ari? Why did you do that?" I give her a questioning look. She doesn't say anything and continues to smile at me. I shift in the seat she pulled me down in, feeling uncomfortable with her just looking at me. I start to get up to go back to Ally, but Ariana begins to talk. "I missed you." Is all she said to me.

"Well, that's my cue to go. See yeah!" I wave at her and quickly make it to the lab station where Ally is sitting at. I look up to see someone already sitting in the chair I was supposed to sit at before. I look at Ally and she gives me an apologetic look. "Y/n I didn't know you were going to sit here. I thought you were going to stay with your girlfriend," she tells me. I get confused at her words and shake my head. "She's not my girlfriend," I state.

I hear someone cough and look to see the guy who took my seat. "Oh sorry, man. I thought you were still with Ari, so I told Ally that she was your girl." I glare at him before looking back at Ally. "I'll just sit at the other lab station. It's all good." I tell her. I look back at the guy and stare at him. "Don't assume." I point at him. He puts his hands up in mock surrender and I walk away from the station.
